3. Functions

The In-Desk HUB allows you to mount a USB 3.0 Hub, a card reader and audio ports directly into your desk in order to easily connect your devices to it.

4. Assembly

Please remove the in-desk hub from its packaging and unwrap it. Drill or saw a hole of the matching size into your desk at the desired place. Maybe do some testing beforehand where you want to put it. If you are unsure how to prepare the desk, please contact an expert before. Once the hole of the matching size has been drilled, you just have to insert the In-Desk Hub carefully until it is positioned flat on the table.

5. Getting started

When the device is put into operation for the first time, check the intactness of the product or components and their function again.

Please connect the USB-cable to a free USB 3.0 port of your PC. Afterwards connect the audio jacks into the corresponding sockets on your PC. The green plug should be connected to either the headphone or the line-out socket and the pink plug to the microphone socket.

Afterwards you should start your PC. It will detect the new hardware automatically and will install the drivers as well. Eventually the installation will be finalized and the In-Desk Hub is ready to use.

If you want to connect devices which require more power, e.g. hard disks etc., you can operate the device via a DC hollow plug power supply using the DC hollow socket of the cable bushing.

Never try to open the device to carry out repairs or conversions. Avoid contact with mains voltages. Do not short-circuit the product. The device is not certified for use in the open air; only use it in dry conditions. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Keep it away from high temperatures.
