4. Pairing

Pairing with the gaming console

When you use the device for the first time with your gaming console, you must pair the controller first.

1. Connect the supplied connection and charging cable to the controller and to a free USB port in your gaming console and press the "Home" button.
2. The pairing is now complete. From now on, you can use the device without cable with your gaming console.

Coupling with the computer

Proceed as follows to use the device with a Windows computer:

1. Connect the controller with the connection and charging cable to a free USB port in the system. The controller is recognised as a Plug & Play controller and can be used with the standard buttons.
2. For some games, the button assignment needs to be further adjusted in the game to suit your needs, or you use a mapping software. Suitable X-Input Mappers for PS4 are available on the Internet as Freeware.

Charge the device completely before using it for the first time!

The controller's battery is charged when you connect it to a free USB port in your system using the USB cable. Please note that while doing this, the system must be turned on or in sleep mode.

As long as the charging process continues, the LED of the controller is switched on. When the charging process is complete, the status LED on the controller turns off.

8. Safety instructions and disclaimer

Please do not try to open the device to carry out repairs or modifications by yourself. Avoid contact with the mains supply. The device is free of electrical current only when disconnected. Please do not short-circuit the product.
