3. initial commissioning

Note: While the heating elements are warming up, a burnt smell and smoke may appear when the appliance is used for the first time. This does not represent a danger or a defect. Wait until the appliance has heated up and the smell has disappeared when you use the product for the first time. It is advisable to use the appliance without contents/cooked food.

Remove the appliance from its packaging and remove all packaging material. Wipe the heating plates of the sandwich maker with a slightly damp cloth.

5. change / select attachment

Unplug the unit from the mains and wait until the unit has cooled down completely before assembling or disassembling anything.

Caution! Do not let the plates come into contact with metal cutlery or other metal objects to avoid damaging the non-stick coating.

Open the lid of the appliance and pull the release buttons for the upper and lower plates outwards respectively (see arrow on release button). The plates will release from the lock and can then be easily removed.

6. commissioning and use

This product is for domestic use only.

Caution: Never use the appliance with only one plate. Always make sure that 2 identical plates are inserted.

  1. You can smear the plates with a little vegetable oil to ensure that you can easily remove the leftovers after baking.
  2. Close the lid and then lock the handle.
  3. Insert the appliance's mains plug into the socket. The red „POWER“ light comes on.
  4. The appliance will then start to heat.
  5. When the heating elements have reached their operating temperature, the green „Ready“ light goes out and the appliance is ready for use.
  6. Open the lid with the handle by releasing the latch first.
  7. Place the food on the lower plate.
  8. Close the lid and then lock the handle.
  9. If you are using the grill plates for sandwiches, make sure that you use the handle to push them down.
  10. While the appliance is on, the green light goes on and off as the thermostat turns on and off.
  11. The baking time depends on your personal taste. Experiment with the baking time for best results.
  12. Stay close to the appliance and check regularly that the food is ready.
  13. Unlock and lift the handle to open the lid when the food is ready.

  14. Remove the food from the plate. Always use an oven mitt to remove the food from the appliance.

  15. Close the lid to store the heat for further use.
  16. To switch off the appliance, remove the plug from the socket.
  17. Let the appliance cool down completely.

7. cleaning and care

Important: Unplug the appliance and let it cool down before cleaning. Never immer-se the appliance in water or any other liquid.

Wipe the lid and base with a damp cloth and a non-abrasive soap or dishwashing liquid. Wipe them with a clean, soft, damp cloth and dry them with a towel.

125 g soft butter

100 g sugar

1 sachet vanilla sugar

3 eggs

250 g flour

200 ml milk

  1. Mix the butter with the sugar and vanilla sugar.
  2. Stir in the eggs a little at a time.
  3. Mix the flour, baking powder and salt together and add to the batter.
  4. Then add the milk.
  5. Bake the waffle directly in the waffle iron.

Belgian waffles

1 kg flour
1 pinch of salt
3 packets vanilla sugar
7 eggs
600 g melted butter
2 cubes fresh yeast
650 g granulated sugar
1 cup lukewarm milk
1 cup water

  1. Put the flour with the vanilla sugar in a key and mix the ingredients thoroughly.
  2. Crumble the yeast and dissolve it in lukewarm milk.
  3. Add the eggs, milk (including yeast) and melted butter to the flour and mix properly (about 1 minute).
