- Please read the following user manual carefully and ensure that you understand the instructions.
- Operate the appliance in accordance with the voltage specified on the appliance identification label.
- Never touch the surface or the interior of the appliance during operation. There is a risk of burns!
- In order to protect against electric shock, please do not immerse the cable, the plug or any part of the appliance in water or in any other liquid.
- Supervision is necessary when the appliance is being used by children or being used in the vicinity of children.
- Remove the plug from the power socket when the appliance is not in use or when you intend to clean it.
- Do not use this appliance with a damaged cable or plug, or when in a faulty condition. If the power cord is damaged, it has to be replaced by the manufacturer, a customer service agency or an adequately qualified person.
- Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces. Do not allow the power cord to hang over the edge of a table.
- The appliance should not be kept or used on or near hot surfaces (such as hotplates) or open gas flames.
- Use the product only for intended applications.
- Use the appliance only for baking waffles.
- Therefore, never place the appliance close to or below flammable materials. The appliance has to be under constant supervision when in operation.
- Using accessories which are not recommended by the manufacturer of the appliance may lead to injuries.
• Always keep the appliance on a flat and heat-resistant surface.
- Immediately remove the power plug from the power socket if you notice smoke or fire!
- Do not use this appliance with external timers or separate remote controls.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

3. Initial commissioning
Note: While the heating elements are warming up, a burnt odour and smoke may be emitted when the appliance is first used. This does not represent a danger or a defect. Wait until the appliance has heated up and the odour has disappeared. During this procedure, it is advisable to use the appliance without food.
Remove the appliance from the packaging and remove all packaging material. Wipe the heating plates of the sandwich maker with a slightly damp cloth.

Attention! Before cleaning the heating plates, make absolutely sure that the appliance is not connected to the mains and has cooled down completely!

6. Commissioning and use
This product is intended for domestic use only.
- You can lubricate the plates with a little vegetable oil to ensure that you can easily remove the leftovers after baking.
- Close the lid and then lock the handle.
- Insert the mains plug of the appliance into the socket. The „POWER“ status indicator lights up.
- Switch on the appliance by turning the roasting/browning level control and select your preferred browning level. The appliance will then start to heat up.
- When the heating elements have reached their operating temperature, the green „Ready“ status indicator switches off and the appliance is ready for use.
- Open the lid with the handle by releasing the lock first.
- Now pour some waffle batter into the lower plate.
- Close the lid and then lock the handle.
- While the appliance is switched on, the green light goes on and off as the thermostat switches on and off to maintain the desired degree of toasting/browning.
- The baking time depends on your personal taste. Experiment with the baking time and the degree of roasting/browning to achieve optimum results.
- Stay close to the appliance and check regularly that the food is ready.
- Unlock and lift the handle to open the lid when the food is ready.
- Remove the food from the plate. Always use a pot holder to remove the food from the appliance. Do not use sharp objects as this can damage the non-stick coating.
- Close the lid to save the heat for further use.
- To switch off the appliance, turn the roasting/browning control to the „0“ position (left) and remove the plug from the socket. If the roasting/browning level control is set to the „0“ position, the heating elements and the thermostat will not work. The „POWER“ status light remains lit until the plug is removed from the socket.
- Allow the appliance to cool down completely.
7. Set the degree of roasting/browning
You can use the „Roasting/browning level control“ to set the cooking level. The further the roasting/browning level control is turned to the right, the longer and more intense the cooking level.
8. Cleaning and care
Important: Disconnect the mains plug and allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning it. Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
Wipe the lid, base and hotplates with a damp cloth and a non-abrasive soap or dishwashing detergent. Wipe them with a clean, soft, damp cloth and dry them with a towel.
Storage: Store the cleaned appliance in a clean, dry place.
Caution! Never store the product when it is still hot or plugged in.

Attention! Never wrap the cable tightly around the appliance, but use the cable wrap designed for this purpose. Do not subject the cable to excessive strain as this can cause it to kink and become permanently damaged.
Please do not use any aggressive or chemical cleaning agents!
9. Recipe examples
The following recipes are only examples.
Basic waffle batter recipe
125 g soft butter
100 g Sugar
1 Pck. Vanilla sugar
3 Eggs
250 g Flour
1 Pinch Salt
1 TS Baking powder
200 ml Milk
- Mix the butter with the sugar and vanilla sugar.
- Gradually stir in the eggs.
- Mix the flour, baking powder and salt together and stir into the batter.
- Then add the milk.
- Then bake the waffle directly in the waffle iron.
Belgian waffles
1 kg Flour
1 Pinch Salt
3 Packages Vanilla sugar
7 Eggs
600 g melted butter
2 Cube fresh yeast
650 g Hail sugar
1 Mug lukewarm milk
1 Mug Water
- Place the flour and vanilla sugar in a bowl and mix the ingredients thoroughly.
- Crumble the yeast and dissolve it in lukewarm milk.
- Add the eggs, milk (including the yeast) and melted butter to the flour and mix well (approx. 1 minute).
- Cover the dough and leave to rise in a warm place for about half an hour.
- Then mix the 650 g of caster sugar into the dough.
- Then bake the waffle directly in the waffle iron.

10. Safety instructions and disclaimer
Never attempt to open the appliance to carry out repairs or modifications. Avoid contact with the mains voltage. Do not short-circuit the product. The device is not waterproof, please only use it in dry conditions. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Keep the device away from high temperatures.
Do not expose the device to sudden temperature changes or strong vibrations, as this could damage the electronic parts. Check the device for damage before use. The appliance should not be used if it has been knocked or damaged in any other way. Please observe the national regulations and restrictions. Do not use the device for purposes other than those described in the instructions.
This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally impaired persons. Any repair or modification to the appliance that is not carried out by the original supplier will invalidate the warranty or guarantee. The appliance may only be used by persons who have read and understood these instructions. The device specifications may change without prior notice.
11. Disposal instructions
