3. Safety instructions
- Keep children away from the hose reel. Children should neither use nor play with the hose reel.
- Never direct the water jet at electrical equipment, people or animals.
- Never leave the hose reel unattended during use.
- Lay the unrolled hose flat on the ground. Avoid upright loops to prevent accidents.
- Do not allow the hose to retract by itself. Guide it carefully back into the housing.
- Do not release the hose when the stop function is not locked. There is a risk of injury from the retraction mechanism!

Make sure that the floor near the mounted hose reel is kept as dry as possible.

Remove the hose reel from the wall during winter and keep it in a dry place to prevent frost damage.
- Do not guide the hose around corners or edges, nor along pointed or sharp objects. Any damage caused to the hose can result in leakage.
- Never open the housing of the hose reel.
- The springs are under tension, and they may whip back.
- Do not use the hose reel if the plastic parts or the hose is cracked or deformed.
- Caution! There is a risk of electric shock in the case of incorrect installation or use. Never use the product near electrical devices.
- Make sure not to damage any power lines during installation.
- The hose reel has been designed exclusively to convey water from fixed sources. Other liquids should not be conveyed. Never drink the water conveyed using the hose. The hose reel is not suitable for drinking water!
- This device is not intended to be used by individuals (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or have received instructions on how to use the device from any such authorised person.
- Always turn off the tap when the hose reel is not being used.
4. Intended Use
Other devices such as sprinklers, pressure washers or other water supply systems can be connected to the hose instead of the spray nozzle. The housing of the hose reel can be pivoted by about 180^ .
Use the product only for the specified purpose. The manufacturer does not assume any liability for damage resulting from improper use.
5. Assembly
Make sure that cables, lines or water pipes are not damaged during mounting. Ideally, identify the mounting location before starting to drill.
First, choose a mounting location that can bear the weight adequately. Make sure that the entire pivoting range of 180^ can be utilised. Make sure that the distance to the tap is selected so that the connection hose has slack when it is connected. Constant tension on the connection hose may damage the device!
Provide a minimum distance of 50cm on each side for positioning the hose reel. Note that there must be a minimum distance of 1.5 m on one side.
Caution! Mark the holes before drilling! Make sure that you drill carefully and at the right place!
Mounting on wood
- Mount the wall bracket vertically using two wood screws.
Mounting on concrete or stone
- Drill two holes using an appropriate drill.
- Insert two dowels into the previously drilled holes.
- Then mount the wall bracket vertically using two screws.
6. Cleaning, care and storage
- Clean the surface of the product with a soft, slightly moist cloth. Never use chemical or aggressive cleaning agents.
- Disconnect the water hose from the tap and allow the remaining water to drain out completely.
- Allow the entire hose reel to dry completely.
- Keep the product in a clean and dry place.
- Never open the product. Opening the product results in loss of warranty.
7. Safety instructions and disclaimer
Never try to open the device to repair or make modifications. Avoid contact with the mains voltage. The device is free of current only when it is disconnected. Do not short-circuit the product. Please disconnect the power cord when not in use or during storms.
The device is not approved for outdoor use. Therefore please use it only in dry surroundings. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Keep the device away from high temperatures. Do not expose the device to sudden changes in temperature or strong vibrations, as this could damage the electronic components. Check the device for any damage before using it. The device should not be used if it was subject to impact or has been damaged in some other manner. Please follow the national regulations and restrictions. Do not use the device for purposes other than those described in the manual.
This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally disabled persons. Any repair or modifications to the device, which is not carried out by the original supplier, will void any warranty and guarantee claims. The device should be used only by those who have read and understood this user manual. The specifications of the device may be changed without prior notice.
8. Disposal instructions
In line with the European WEEE directive, electrical and electronic devices should not be disposed of along with domestic waste. Their components must be separately sent for recycling or disposal, as improper disposal of toxic and dangerous components may permanently damage the environment.
