3.1- General safety warnings

  • Understand the product. Read and follow the instructions in this manual.
  • Do not disassemble or modify the product.
  • Do not use this product if it is not completely assembled or if any parts appear to be missing or damaged.
    • To reduce risk of injury, close supervision is necessary when the electric appliance is near

children.

  • Do not allow children to operate this product. It is not a toy.
  • Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children.
  • When the product is not in use or before performing cleaning, turn it off, disconnect from the power source.
  • Use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
  • Do not use in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dusts.
  • Never leave the product running unattended.
  • Perform service maintenance by qualified personnel only.

3.2- Additional safety rules for submersible water pump

• Make sure electrical connection is made within dry area and protected from flooding.
- Maintain labels and rating plate through the life of service.
• Before cleaning or changing accessories, turn it off, disconnect the power source.
- Never run an overheated pump. If your pump is overheat, turn off immediately, and allow cooling down.
- Never use a pump in a flammable, explosive or corrosive environment.

3.3- Special warnings when using this product

  • The pump is suitable for clean water only, not for domestic sewage or water containing solid particles or corrosive/flammable liquid.
  • Do not use the pump when someone or pet is in the water.
  • The power source must be earthed.
  • The pump must be connected to residual-current circuit breaker (RCCB) with rated leakage current of no more than 30 mA.
    • The pump can be connected to shock-proof plug by professional electrician.
  • All power plug and extension cable used with this equipment must be of suitable waterproof rating.
  • Leakage of lubricant oil may cause contamination to the water.

IV. GETTING STARTED

4.1- Unpacking

  • Remove the product from packaging
  • Check if the product and accessories (if any) are intact.

4.2- Content

  • 1 water pump body
    • 1 water discharge pipe
    • 1 Instruction manual

4.3- Assembly

Connecting Water Discharge Pipe

- Connecting the water discharge pipe to the outlet connector (body) by turning the pipe connector knob. Make sure the provided gasket is inserted.

4.4- Settings

Standby Mode

  • The pump enter STANDBY mode when the control valve is closed.
  • The pump stop running automatically.
    • Water pressure built up in the water discharge pipe.

Operation Mode

  • The pump enter OPERATION mode when the control valve is open.
  • The pump start running automatically.
    • Water pump out of the pipe spout.

Protection Mode

  • The pump enter PROTECTION mode when water level is lower than the impeller.
  • The pump stop running automatically.
  • Reconnect the power to restart the pump.

V. OPERATION

5.1- Intended use

  • The pump is submersible that intended for domestic use. It could be used to remove water from flooded premises or pumping water out of well or cellar. It is not intended for commercial, artisanal and/or industrial uses.
  • The pump is designed to work in clear water with suspended particle size not more than 5mm.
    • The pump is designed to work in water temperature not exceeding 35^ C.
  • The pump is fully submersible, the immersion depth must not exceed 7 metres (refer to Table 1).
  • Do not use the product in any way other than those stated for intended use.

WARNING! Do not use with below liquids

  • flammable, corrosive or explosive liquids
  • sewage, dirty water or toilet waste water
  • oil or grease

5.2- Operation:

Connecting Carrying Rope (not included)

- Attach and secure a rope, which is strong and long enough, to the carrying handle.

Connecting Pressure Hose (not included)

  • Attach and secure a suitable pressure hose to the pipe spout (refer to Fig. 1 for information).
  • When plumbing is used, ridig pipe and check valve should be used to prevent water from flowing back.

Submerging in Water

- Close the control valve.

  • Lift, carry and hang the pump with the handle and the rope. Don't apply excessive force to power cable and water pipe.
  • Aimed to avoid trapping air bubbles under the pump (close to suction opening), slowly submerge the pump in water at an angle.
  • When the pump is suspended or touched down to the surface under water, adjust the pump position, then secure the pump by tying the rope to a fixed object appropriately.

Power On

  • Connect to a grounded power sources that meets the safety requirements (section 3 refers).
  • Open the control valve, the pump will start running automatically.

5.3- Tips

  • Check and make sure all joints are connected securely.
  • Don't submerge the pump to the depth higher then 7 metres, which may cause damage to the product.
  • Do not leave the pump running unattended.
  • Do not use the pump when people or pet is in the water.

VI. MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE

WARNING!

Before any intervention on product, disconnect from power source.

Reminder: In order to maintain the machine in good working condition, carry out regular maintenance of the machine after each use and before storage. Any breach or inadequate maintenance reduces the life of the machine and increases the risk of breakdowns and accidents.

6.1- Cleaning

  • Before cleaning, disconnect from power source.
  • Clean the exterior of the pump with clean water.
  • In case of necessary, use brush and mild detergent to assist cleaning.
  • Immerse the pump in a container with clean water, power on the pump to rinse the interior of the pump.

WARNING!

Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents or strong detergents for cleaning the non-metallic parts of the product. They may weaken the plastic materials.

6.2- Storage

  • Disconnect from power source before storage.
  • Clean the product before storage.
  • Keep product, instruction manual and accessories (if any) in the original packaging.
  • Store the product in a clean environment, where is not freezing.
  • Keep out of reach of children (e.g. lock it up).

6.3- Disposal

  • Do not dispose with household garbage. Do not throw into the environment.
  • Dispose of the product in a collection centre for waste of electrical and electronic equipment, or a waste drop-off centre; or seek advice from your local municipality.
  • Proceed with disposal of the tool, accessories and packaging according to local regulations regarding the protection of the environment.
