Operating and Safety Instructions

FOR INDOOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY

When using this or any other electrical appliance, always follow these basic safety precautions, especially when children are present.

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE.

WARNING-To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or serious personal injury:

- This product is not intended for use by children. Keep the product out of the reach of children and pets. Extra caution is necessary when using this appliance near children.

- Always ensure the product is unplugged from the electrical outlet and allowed to cool before assembling, disassembling, relocating, or cleaning it.

- Do not leave the product unattended while it is in use. Always unplug the product from the electrical outlet when not in use.

- Do not immerse the Base, Power Cord, or Plug of this product in or expose the Power Cord or Plug to water or other liquids.

- Do not place in Dishwasher or use abrasive sponges or cloths to clean the appliance.

- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use protective oven mitts or gloves when removing the Lid

- Take proper precautions to prevent burns, fire, personal or property damage as this appliance generates heat and steam during use.

- Do not use attachments not recommended or sold by the product manufacturer.

- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, in a heated oven, or other heated surfaces.

- Use extreme caution when moving an appliance containing hot food, water, or other liquids.

- Use the product in a well-ventilated area. Keep at least 4-6 inches of space on all sides of the product to allow adequate air circulation.

- Keep the product away from curtains, wall coverings, clothing, dishtowels, or other flammable materials.

- Do not plug or unplug the product from the electrical outlet with a wet hand.

- This product is intended solely for non-commercial, non-industrial, household use in cooking of food for human consumption; do not use the product outdoors or for any other purpose.

- Do not operate the product empty.

- Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter where it may be tripped over or pulled.

- Do not allow cord to touch hot surfaces.

- Do not operate the product if it has a damaged or cut Power Cord or plug, if wires are exposed, if it malfunctions, if it is dropped or damaged, or if the Motor Housing is dropped in or exposed to water.

- This product has no user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to repair this product yourself.

- Do not overload wall outlet, extension cords, or integral convenience holders, as this can result in a fire or electric shock.

- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning and allow appliance to cool before cleaning or adding and removing parts.

• PASTRIES WILL BE VERY HOT. USE A NON-METAL SPOON TO CAREFULLY REMOVE THEM

- There is no on or off switch. To turn off, remove plug from wall outlet. Allow unit to cool before storing.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. An extension cord is not recommended for use with this product, but if one must be used:

— The marked electrical rating must be at least as great as that of the product.
- Arrange the extension cord so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be tripped over or pulled.

WARNING: This product is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider

than the other blade) to reduce the risk of electrical shock. This is a safety feature. The plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If you are unable to insert the plug into the electrical outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use the plug with an extension cord unless you can fully insert the plug into the extension cord. Do not alter the plug. Do not attempt to defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug.

HOW TO USE

1. Before first use, wipe down all surfaces with a damp cloth and dry.
2. The Nonstick Cooking Surface should be lightly coated with a small amount of vegetable oil. Vegetable oil can be applied with a paper towel or with a nonstick oil spray. This should be done periodically to maintain the nonstick quality.
3. Preheat the appliance by closing the Lid and plugging into an electrical outlet.
4. When the power is on, the Red Power Light will come on. The Green Ready Light will stay off while the appliance is preheating.
5. The appliance should preheat for a minimum of 3 minutes. The Green Ready Light will turn on when the appliance is ready to cook.

Attention: First use may cause a slight odor or small smoking upon heating, it is normal. This is a result of the heating element chemical reaction. It quickly goes away.

1. While the appliance is preheating, you may prepare the ingredients for your mini cupcakes.
2. Raise the Lid using an oven mitt. Fill each of the seven pastry wells in the Nonstick Cooking Surface with mixture. NOTE: You can also line the pastry wells with miniature paper cups.
3. Close the Lid using a pot holder or oven mitt. Make sure Lid is locked.
4. The cooking time will range between 5-7 minutes, depending on the type of pastries being cooked and personal taste.
5. Once the pastries have completed cooking, raise the Lid with a pot holder or oven mitt. Remove the pastries from the Nonstick Cooking Surface with a plastic or wooden spoon. DO NOT use metal utensils, as they may scratch and damage the Nonstick Cooking Surface.
6. If cooking more than one batch of pastries in a session, after removal of the first batch, lower the Lid to maintain heat until ready to cook the next batch.
7. As soon as you are finished cooking, unplug appliance and allow to cool.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

• Disconnect from the electrical outlet by unplugging the appliance.
• Make sure the appliance is cool before cleaning.
• Clean the upper and lower Cooking Surface with a damp, non-abrasive cloth and dry.
• Wipe the exterior with a damp, non-abrasive cloth and dry.
• It is that simple!

RECIPIES

You can even use any pre-packaged mixes to create treats such as; brownies, cake, cornbread, muffins, etc. Simply follow the directions on the box.

VANILLA CUPCAKE

- 34 Cup Flour

- 12 Tsp. Baking Powder

- 12 Tsp. Vanilla Extract

- 14 Cup and 2 Tbsp. Sugar

- 14 Cup Buttermilk

- 14 Tsp. Nutmeg

- 1 Egg

Preheat the Mini Cupcake Maker as directed.

Mix dry ingredients. Stir in buttermilk, egg and vanilla. Carefully pour into pastry wells. Close the Lid and cook for 6-9 minutes until light golden brown in color. Open Lid with a pot holder or oven mitt. Remove each cupcake with wooden or plastic spoon. Place on plate. Once cooled add your favorite toppings.

BRAN MUFFINS

- 1 Cup Wheat Bran

- ^2 /3 Cup Buttermilk

- 1 / 2 C. Brown Sugar

- 14 Tsp. Vanilla Extract

• 1 Egg

- 14 Tsp. Salt

• ^2 /3 C. Flour

- 14 Tsp. Cinnamon

- 3 14 Tsp. Baking Soda

- 3 / 4 Tsp. Baking Powder

- 3 Tbsp. & 1 34 Tsp. Vegetable Oil

Preheat the Mini Cupcake Maker as directed.

In a large bowl, stir together wheat bran and buttermilk. Let stand for 10 minutes. Beat together oil, egg, sugar and vanilla. Add to wheat bran mixture. Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and cinnamon into a separate bowl. Then, stir flour mixture into wheat bran mixture just until blended. Carefully pour into pastry wells.

Close the Lid and cook for 6-9 minutes until light golden brown in color. Open Lid with a pot holder or oven mitt. Remove each muffin with wooden or plastic spoon.

CARROT CAKE CUPCAKES

- 1 Cup Sugar

- 1 / 2 Tsp. Salt

- 2 Tsp. Baking Soda

- 3 / 4 C. Vegetable Oil

• 3 C. Grated Carrots

• 1 Cup Brown Sugar

• 2 Tsp. Baking Powder

• 2 Tsp. Ground Cinnamon

- 14 Tsp. Ground Nutmeg

• 1 C. Chopped Pecans

• 1(8oz) Can Crushed Pineapple

• 3 Tsp. Vanilla Extract, divided

• 2 Cups All-Purpose Flour

- Pinch of Ground Cloves

Preheat the Mini Cupcake Maker as directed.

In a large bowl, beat together eggs, oil, apple sauce, sugars, pineapple and vanilla. Mix in flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and small pinch of ground cloves. Stir in carrots. Fold in pecans. Carefully pour into pastry wells. Close the Lid and cook for 6-9 minutes. Open Lid with a pot holder or oven mitt. Remove each cupcake with wooden or plastic spoon.

Place on plate and allow to cool.

BLONDIE BITES

- 1 12 Tsp. Milk

- 14 Cup Butter, melted

• 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

• ½ Cup Packed Brown Sugar

- 1 Egg, beaten

• ^2 /3 Cup All-Purpose, Unbleached Flour

- 14 Tsp. Baking Powder

• ^1/_8 Tsp. Salt

Preheat the Mini Cupcake Maker as directed.

In a large bowl, combine milk, melted butter and vanilla just until mixed. Add brown sugar and egg. Stir until well blended. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add flour mixture to sugar mixture and stir until well blended.

Carefully pour into pastry wells. Close the Lid and cook for 3-7 minutes. Open Lid with a pot holder or oven mitt. Remove each brownie with wooden or plastic spoon.

If the product or component is no longer available, we will replace with a similar one of equal or greater value. This warranty does not cover glass, filters, wear from normal use, use not in conformity with the printed directions, or damage to the product resulting from accident, alteration, abuse, or misuse.
