How to pair the AMPLICALL 140 with an AMPLICALL receiver?
Put the receiver in recording mode by pressing and holding the Program button (●) for 3 seconds. Select the zone and desired melody, then briefly press the button on the AC140. If pairing is successful, the receiver emits two short tones.
How to adjust the microphone sensitivity?
Use the Sensitivity button on the device to choose between three levels: High, Medium or Low, depending on the sound intensity to detect.
What is the delay selector for?
The delay selector allows you to set a delay of 5, 10 or 15 seconds between sound detection and transmission to the receiver, thus avoiding false alarms.
Can I use an external microphone?
Yes, plug the supplied sensor microphone (or an extension) into the Mic EXT socket. The internal microphone is then automatically disabled.
How to install the backup batteries?
Remove the screw from the battery compartment, insert 2 AA 1.5V alkaline batteries respecting polarity, then close and screw back. The batteries allow autonomous operation or in case of power failure.

Connection your device

Your AC140 is delivery with an power adaptor, you must plug it in the socket AC/DC situate on the bottom right.

When using the AC/DC power, you must install the batteries too. Otherwise you will get a battery low information on AC140.

You have the possibility to add 2 Alkaline batteries AA 1.5V (not provided) if you want that your device works in power failure mode or without power adaptor.

Please follow the below procedure to insert the batteries.

  1. Unscrew the screw on the battery cover.
    2.Open the battery cover.
  2. Insert the 2 alkaline batteries AA1.5V in respecting the polarity.
  3. Replace the battery cover.
  4. Replace the screw.

Pairing with the AMPLICALL receivers

AC140 works with the AMPLICALL receivers and must be paired before using.

To pair a new device, please follow these steps:

  1. Enter pairing mode for the AMPLICALL receivers.

Press & hold the LEARNING button (●) for 3 seconds. The LED in zone icon #1 will flash.

  1. Press the LEARNING button (●) again to move to the zone icon you wish to pair with.

Press the melody selection ( musical) button to scroll through the melodies. Once you hear a melody you like, do not press

any button during the melody.

  1. Once the zone icon and melody are selected, press one time on device AC140 button to pair. If successful, the AMPLICALL receivers will generate two short tones.

Press the LEARNING button (●) to exit

the pairing mode; the system is now ready to use

Power On/Off: Slide the switch to Off (O) position when do not use.

Delay: You can select 5,10, or 15 seconds delay time using this switch. When selected 5 seconds, it means that AMPLICALL receivers will be trigger after 5 seconds of sound detected in continuous.

Sensitivity: You can select Hi, Mid or Low Mic sensitivity by this switch.

Ext.Mic: you can plug the external mic to this jack. The internal mic will be cut off when the external mic is installed.

Adjust the distance (between the microphone and the Sound source) and sensitivity according to the sound source type and intensity.

Code Conflict

If the AC140 coding is the same as another transmitter, you must change the code. Please follow the procedure as below. When you have changed the code must re-pair the bell press.

Slide the power switch to ON position, do not release the bell button, until the LED indicator blinks 6 times.

Wall mounting

The AC140 can either be placed on a flat surface or be mounted on a wall.

Mark two holes on the wall using a pencil and drill hole template.

Mount the unit to the wall using the provided anchors and screws.
