⚠ WARNING-To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, serious personal injury, and property damage please note the following:
- This appliance is not intended for use by children. Keep the appliance out of the reach of children and pets. Extra caution is necessary when using this appliance near children.
- Always ensure the product is unplugged from the electrical outlet and allowed to cool before assembling, disassembling, relocating, or cleaning.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is in use. Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet when not in use.
- Do not immerse or expose the Base, Power Cord, or Plug of this appliance in water or other liquids.
- This appliance generates heat and steam during use, do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs when handling product. Use protective kitchen gloves or mitts to avoid burns.
- Do not use attachments not recommended by the Manufacturer as it may cause fire, electric shock, or injury.
- Do not place appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner, in a heated oven, or other heated surfaces.
- Use extreme caution when moving an appliance containing food or liquids.
- Use the product in a well-ventilated area. Keep at least 4-6 inches of space on all sides of the product to allow adequate air circulation.
- Use appliance on a sturdy flat table or surface. Keep the appliance away from curtains, wall coverings, clothing, dishtowels, or other flammable materials.
- Do not plug or unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet with a wet hand.
- This appliance is intended solely for non-commercial, non-industrial, household use in cooking food for human consumption; do not use the product outdoors or for any other purpose.
- Do not operate the appliance empty.
- Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter where it may be tripped over or pulled. Do not allow cord to touch hot surfaces.
- Do not operate the appliance if it has a damaged power cord or plug, if wires are exposed, if it malfunctions, if it is dropped or damaged, or if the motor housing is dropped in or exposed to water.
- This appliance has no user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to examine or repair this appliance yourself. Please review the Warranty Policy on Page 7.
- Do not put any stress on the power cord where it connects to the appliance, as the power cord could fray and break.
- This appliance does not have an “OFF” feature, to shut off please disconnect from power supply.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. An extension cord is not recommended for use with this product, but if one must be used:
- The marked electrical rating must be at least as great as that of the product.
- Arrange the extension cord so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be tripped over or pulled.
WARNING: This product is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other
blade) to reduce the risk of electrical shock. This is a safety feature. The plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If you are unable to insert the plug into the electrical outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use the plug with an extension cord unless you can fully insert the plug into the extension cord. Do not alter the plug. Do not attempt to defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug.

WARNINGBefore First Use
Please check all packing material carefully for accessory parts before discarding.
NOTE: Before first use, clean all surfaces with a damp cloth or sponge.
CAUTION: Take care to prevent any running water from reaching into the appliance.
Attention: First use may cause a slight odor or small smoking upon heating, it is normal. This is a result of the heating element chemical reaction. It quickly goes away. This does not affect the safety of your appliance.
NOTE: It may affect the taste and flavor of the first batch, we recommend discarding.
Using Your Waffle Maker:
REMINDER: This appliance does not have an ON or OFF switch. Turn On or Off by plugging and unplugging the appliance from the electrical outlet.
- Place the Flip Belgium Waffle Maker on a flat, dry, and level surface.
- Before your first use wipe down all surfaces with a damp cloth and then dry.
- You can lightly coat the top and bottom non-stick cooking plates with a small amount of vegetable oil.
NOTE: We recommend applying a light coat of vegetable oil on each use. Use a soft brush and/or clean paper towel. This helps to prolong the life of the non-stick surface.
DO NOT USE COOKING SPAYS AS THEY ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH NONSTICK PANS AND MAY RUIN THEM.
- Plug the product into the nearest electrical outlet to preheat with the lid closed.
- Red and Green lights will illuminate, indicating there is power and it is preheating.
- When the Power is on, the red power light will illuminate to indicate there is power. The Green light will also come on at the same time, indicating the appliance is preheating.
- While the appliance preheats you can prepare the batter for your Belgium Waffles. Please see recipe ideas on Page 5.

Once the green ready light turns off, raise the lid using an oven mitt to prevent any burns. CAUTION: Do not overfill the product or operate it when empty.

Carefully fill the bottom of the Non-Stick cooking plate with your prepared mixture, focusing your pour into the center of the plate. Close the lid ONLY using the handle and allow it to cook.
CAUTION: Steam may be released during the cooking process. Keep face and all bodily parts away to avoid harm. Steam may cause burns. Only handle the appliance using kitchen gloves.
- Cooking time is about 2 minutes and can vary depending on ingredients and consistency of your batter.
- Once your Waffle is cooked to your preference, carefully flip the waffle maker using the handle, and allow the other side to cook to your preference (about another 2 minutes.)
- Carefully flip the Waffle Maker back to its original upright position by using the handle. Remove the Waffle using a heat resistant nylon, silicone, or wooden utensil. Do not use metal utensils as they may damage the cooking surface.
- If you are cooking more than one batch of Waffles in a session, after the first batch lower the lid to maintain the heat level. Once the GREEN indicator light shuts off, the Waffle Maker is ready for your next batch.
- Once you have finished making your desired number of Waffles, unplug your appliance immediately and allow it to cool before handling.
Cleaning Your Waffle Maker:
WARNING: Always unplug the product and allow it to cool before cleaning or storing. CAUTION: DO NOT IMMERSE WAFFLE MAKER, PLUG, OR CORD IN WATER OR ANY LIQUID. THIS WILL DAMAGE YOUR APPLIANCE AND WILL NO LONGER OPERATE AND WILL NOT BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.
- Disconnect the waffle maker from the electrical outlet.
- Make sure the appliance is completely cooled before handling.
- Clean the upper and lower non-stick plates using a damp nonabrasive cloth.
- Exterior of waffle maker can be cleaned with a damp cloth as well.
- Dry all parts thoroughly before storing or using again.
- Store in a cool, dry place. Away from the reach of children.
RECIPE IDEAS
Classic Belgian Waffle
Ingredients:
2 Cups Flour
4 tsps Baking Powder
12 sps. Salt
14 Cup Sugar
2 Eggs
12 Cup Melted Butter
2 Cups Milk
Directions:
- Preheat Waffle Maker according to instructions
- Mix the dry ingredients together in a large bowl, set aside.
- In a separate bowl, separate egg whites and beat until stiff peaks form
- Mix together the egg yolks, milk, melted butter, and vanilla, stir slightly
| 1 tsps Vanilla ExtractAlternate Ingredient:1 Tsp: Cinnamon | 5. Add to dry ingredients and mix well. Then Fold in egg whites6. Cook in waffle iron between medium and high heat for 5-10 minutes |
Modern Belgian Waffle
| Ingredients:1 (.25 oz): active dry yeast 14 Cup: Milk (warm) 234 Cup: Milk (warm)3 Eggs: Yolks3 Eggs: Whites 34 Cup: Butter melted and use lukewarm 12 Cup: Sugar (white) 112 Tsp: Salt2 Tsps: Vanilla Extract4 Cups: All -Purpose FloorAlternate Ingredient:1 Tsp: Cinnamon | Directions:1. Dissolve yeast in 14 cup warm milk in a bowl and let stand until creamy. (Approx. 8-10 minutes)2. Whisk the egg yolks, 14 cup of warm milk and butter (melted).3. While whisking, stir in sugar, salt, vanilla extract and the yest mixture.4. Next while whisking, stir in the remaining milk and flour, alternating. Finish with the flour last.5. Beat egg whites until soft peaks form, fold into the batter, cover tightly with wrap and let rise in a warm environment until size doubles.6. Preheat Waffle Maker according to instructions.7. Pour mixture into Waffle Maker, do not over fill.8. Cooking time will be approximately: 5-10 Minutes on medium and high heat |

This product is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase. During this period, your exclusive remedy is repair or replacement of this product, at our option; however, you are responsible for all costs associated with returning the product to us and our returning a product or component under this warranty to you. If the product or component is no longer available, we will replace it with a similar one of equal or greater value. This warranty does not cover glass, filters, wear from normal use, use not in conformity with the printed directions, or damage to the product resulting from accident, alteration, abuse, or misuse.
