- Use the appliance for private and intended purpose only. This appliance is not intended for commercial use. Do not use it outdoors and keep it away from heat and direct sunlight.

5. Initial use
Take the appliance out of the package and check the appliance as well as the scope of delivery mentioned above. Please contact the supplier if any part is missing or has been damaged. Insert two AAA batteries into the remote control. Pay attention to the correct polarity of the contacts.
Mount the wheels to the bottom of the appliance.

6. Usage
Keep the appliance in an appropriate location and connect it to a properly installed power socket.
Insert two AAA batteries into the remote control. Pay attention to the correct polarity of the contacts.
Caution! The cooling effect of the air cooler is only present in the immediate air stream of the appliance.
6.1 Adjusting the speed levels
You can choose between three different speed levels. Press the "SPEED" button ("+" / "-" on the remote control) on the remote control or the control panel of the air cooler adjust to the speed of the fan.
6.2 Mode selection
You can choose between natural and night modes. You can change the mode using the "MODE" button. If you want to use the normal mode, press the button till both the mode indicator lights stop glowing.
Night mode
The fan speed is set at medium level and the speed decreases by one level after 15 minutes to reduce the power consumption.
Note: The fan speed cannot be adjusted manually when the appliance is in night mode.
Natural mode
The fan speed automatically changes between the available speeds and switches off in between to ensure natural airflow.
6.3 Timer function
The air cooler offers various timer levels that can be adjusted hourly up to a maximum time of 7 hours.
Switch-on timer
- Make sure that the unit is connected to the mains and is in standby.
- Press the timer button to select the desired time (one to seven hours).
- The timer indicator lights flash while you are entering the time. After successful setting and / or inactivity of 10 seconds, the status LEDs stop flashing and your entry is accepted.
- While the timer control lights are still flashing, select the desired additional functions such as air cooling or oscillation.
- To deactivate the switch-on timer, press the main switch twice.
Switch-off timer
To do this, press the "Timer" key on the remote control or on the control panel of the fan. Press it repeatedly to increase the duration of the timer.

To switch off the timer function, press the "ON/OFF" key twice.
6.4 Cooling mode
The appliance runs in normal mode like a fan. If you also want to switch on the air cooling, press the "AIR COOLER" button on the remote control or the control panel.
Once the air cooling is switched on, the indicator light on the control panel starts glowing.
Caution! The cooling effect of the air cooler is only present in the immediate air stream of the appliance.
Make sure that there is water in the water tank and that you do not remove the water tank during operation.

Switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains.

Turn the water tank lock by 90° in the clockwise direction and remove the water tank carefully.
-
Turn the water pump lock by 90° in the clockwise direction and remove the water pump from its holder. Then remove the water tank completely.

Fill the water tank with fresh water upto the maximum mark. To increase the cooling, add ice cubes or ice packs to the water tank.

Note: If the water level is too low, you will hear three beeps and the air cooling indicator lamps flashes till the air cooling is switched off, or the water tank is refilled.
Make sure that you always empty the appliance completely when it is not being used.
8. Cleaning and Care
Caution! Pull out the power plug from the socket before starting the cleaning process!
Use a slightly moist cloth for cleaning (wetted with water). Never immerse the appliance in water for cleaning. This could lead to electric shock or fire!
8.1 Cleaning the filter
- Clean the air filter of the appliance once every two weeks. The air filter is located inside the filter housing (6) / the filter flap.
- Remove the filter housing carefully from the back of the appliance.
- Remove the honeycomb from the air filter and take the air filter out of the filter housing.
- Use a brush or vacuum cleaner to remove dust or particles from the filter.
- Then replace the air filter and the honeycomb filter into the filter housing and mount it at the back of the appliance.
8.2 Cleaning the water tank
- The water tank has to be cleaned at the latest after 2 weeks to prevent the formation of mould or bacteria.
- Remove the water tank and clean it with a mild cleaning agent and warm water.
- Then dry the water tank with a soft cloth.
- Replace the water tank.
Caution! Do not use boiling water to clean the tank.
8.3 Storage
Empty the water tank completely if you do not intend to use the appliance for a long time and want to store it.
Allow the appliance to run in fan mode for four hours at low speed, so that the inside of the appliance dries completely.
Then store the appliance in a dry place.
9. Safety instructions and disclaimer
Never try to open the appliance to repair or make modifications. Avoid contact with the mains voltage. Do not short-circuit the product. The appliance is not waterproof, therefore please use it only in dry surroundings. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Do not expose the appliance to high temperatures.
Do not expose the appliance to sudden changes in temperature or strong vibrations, as this could damage the electronic components. Check the appliance for any damage before using it. The appliance should not be used if it was subject to impact or has been damaged in some other manner. Please comply with the local regulations and restrictions. Do not use the appliance for purposes other than those described in the user manual. This product is not a toy.
Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally disabled persons. Any repairs or modifications to the appliance not carried out by the original supplier will void any warranty and guarantee claims. The appliance should only be used by those who have read and understood this user manual. The specifications of the appliance may be changed without any special prior notification.
10. Disposal instructions
In line with the European WEEE directive, electrical and electronic appliances should not be disposed of along with domestic waste. Their components have to be separately sent for recycling or disposal, because improper disposal of toxic and dangerous components may permanently damage the environment. According to the electrical and electronic equipment act (ElektroG), you are obliged (as a consumer) to return (free of charge) electrical and electronic appliances to the manufacturer, the point of sale or public collection points at the end of their service life. 11. Instructions for battery disposal
In conjunction with the sale of batteries along with the supply of appliance that include batteries, the supplier is obliged to point out the following to the customer: The customer is legally obliged to return used batteries. He can return used batteries which the supplier offers or has offered as new batteries in his assortment free of charge to the supplier's dispatch warehouse (shipping address). The symbols shown on the batteries indicate the following: Pb = battery contains more than 0.004 percent lead by weight, Cd = battery contains more than 0.002 percent cadmium by weight, Hg = battery contains more than 0.0005 percent mercury by weight.

The symbol of the crossed-out dustbin means that the battery should not be disposed of in household waste.
