How to connect the COLORdash Par-Quad 18 to a DMX controller?

Use a standard DMX cable to connect the controller's output to the DMX In of the fixture. You can daisy-chain up to 32 units. Set the DMX address via the Address menu.

How to replace the fuse of the COLORdash Par-Quad 18?

Disconnect the fixture. Use a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the fuse holder cover. Replace the fuse with a new one of the same type. Screw the cover back on and reconnect.

How to set up Master/Slave mode?

Set the master fixture to M/S Mode > Master. Set the slaves to M/S Mode > Slave. Connect the DMX output of the master to the input of the slaves.

What are the available DMX modes and how many channels do they use?

The available modes are: 4-channel (Red, Green, Blue, Amber), 6-channel (dimmer, Red, Green, Blue, Amber, strobe) and 10-channel (dimmer, Red, Green, Blue, Amber, strobe, macros, auto, auto speed, dimmer speed).

How to adjust white balance?

In the White Balance menu, adjust the maximum values of the Red, Green and Blue LEDs (0-255) to obtain the desired color temperature.

What is the required power supply voltage?

The fixture accepts an input voltage of 100 to 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz. It automatically adapts to the local voltage.

How to clean the COLORdash Par-Quad 18?

Disconnect the fixture. Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the lenses and the housing. Avoid abrasive products or excessive moisture. Let the fixture acclimate in case of temperature change.

Can I use an external dimmer or rheostat?

No. Never connect this fixture to a dimmer or rheostat. This could damage the electronic components. Always use a direct power supply.

2. Remove blown fuse and replace with a good fuse of the same type and rating.
