Can my child use the Burigotto Avante from birth?

No, this model is designed for children measuring between 100 and 150 cm (approx. 3 to 12 years). For infants, a group 0/0+ seat is required.

How to correctly install the seat with ISOFIX?

Unfold the ISOFIX connectors, align them with the vehicle anchors, push until a click. A green indicator confirms correct attachment. Then adjust the seat against the vehicle seat back.

Can I use the seat on the front passenger seat?

Yes, but only if the front airbag is deactivated. It is strongly recommended to install it on the rear seat.

How to clean the seat cover?

The cover is removable. Wash it in cold water, gentle cycle, air dry. Do not use bleach or dryer.

Is the seat compatible with all vehicles?

It is compatible with seats equipped with ISOFIX anchors or 3-point belt. Check the vehicle manual for ISOFIX availability and space.

How to adjust the seat recline?

Pull the lever located under the seat forward, choose one of the 4 positions, then release the lever to lock.

What to do in case of an accident?

After an accident, the seat must be replaced even if it appears intact. Internal damage may compromise safety.

How to know if the headrest is properly adjusted?

The headrest must be adjusted so that the shoulder belt passes over the middle of the child's shoulder, not touching the neck. Adjust using the handle at the back.

Does the seat have a warranty?

Can I use the seat without the cover?

No, the cover is an integral part of the safety system. Use only the original Burigotto cover.

1. Safety instructions

• Read this instruction manual carefully.
• The correct fitting of the ISOFIX attachment anchoring systems of 3-point belt is of vital importance for the safety of your child.
• For the future use of the seat, it is important that you keep the instruction manual carefully.
• Never leave your child unattended in the car.
• Do not use a child safety seat if the vehicle seat is equipped with a front airbags. This can be dangerous. This does not apply to so-called side airbags.
• Before use our product, please read the instruction manual carefully. The product is a safety product and is only safe when used in accordance with the instruction manual.
• The product must only be used on a forward facing seat that is fitted with the ISOFIX attachment anchoring systems.
• The product may be used on either the front or the back seat. However, we recommend that it is fitted on the back seat.
• The product has been approved according to the strictest European safety standards (ECE R129/03) and is suitable for 100-150cm with 3-point belt; 100-150cm with 3-point belt and ISOFIX attachment.
  After an accident the seat may become unsafe due to damage that is not noticeable immediately. It should therefore be replaced.
  The safety of the seat can only be guaranteed by the manufacturer if it is used by the original owner.
  • We advise you strongly that not to use a second-hand product, because you are not sure what has happened to it.
• The harness pads are important for the safety of your child, therefore use them at all the time.

• Ensure that all luggage and objects likely to cause injury in the event of an accident are properly secured.

• It is recommended that the car seat should not be used more than 5 years from the date of production. The properties of the products may deteriorate due to, for example, ageing of the plastic and this may not be visible.

• The moving parts of the car seat should not be lubricated in any way.
• The baby car seat must not be used without the cover. Please use an original cover, as the cover contributes to the safety of the seat.
• The seat must be secured with ISOFIX attachment, even when it not on use. An unsecured seat may injure other passengers in the car in an urgent stop.
• The rigid items and plastic parts of a child restraint must be so located and installed that they are not liable, during everyday use of the vehicle, to become trapped by a movable seat or in a door of the vehicle.
• Ensure that the seat is not damaged by the webbing between or underneath heavy luggage, adjustable seats or slamming the car door etc.
• No alterations may be made to the product as this could affect part or the overall safety of the seat.
• In hot weather the plastic and metal parts of the product will be hot. You should cover the seat when the car parked under the sun.
• In order to prevent damage to the cover, do not remove the product's logo.
• Use the seat even in s short journey, as this is when most accidents occur.
• Before the purchase, please check that the seat is properly in your car.
• Take a short break in long journey. So that your child has some time for the relaxation.
• Set a good example your child and always wear your seat belt.
• Tell your child that he/she should be never play with the harness buckle.
• Make sure that any straps is properly fastened (worn low down) and not twisted.
• Any lap strap is worn low down, to keep the pelvis is firmly engaged.

4. Introduction of product function

4.1 Installing for ISOFIX attachment

Press ISOFIX attachment side button and push ISOFIX attachment to the end.

Align the ISOFIX attachment with ISOFIX attachment anchor and insert, it will show green if ISOFIX attachment is properly installed.

Then pushing the child seat towards the car seat direction to the end.

(make sure there is no space for the baby car seat and vehicle seat)

4.2 The installing method for vehicle belt.

Make sure that the belt passes as low as possible in order to better secure the child's pelvis.

1. Place the baby car seat in vehicle seat and allow your child to sit in the car seat.

Pass the belt to the car seat belt guider, and through under the armrest, close the buckle.

1. Tighten your seat belt.

4.3 Adjust the height of headrest

Pull up the handle of the seat on the back of head to adjust it from up and down. Release the handle and lock the head position.

Attention: Please ensure that the seat head is locked.

4.4 Adjust the reclining of seat

Pull adjustable handle to adjust the seat angle.

Attention:

Pull the handle forward towards the seat.

4.5 Unlock the ISOFIX attachment

Press the button on the side of the ISOFIX attachment to unlock the ISOFIX attachment. Remove the seat when the ISOFIX attachment on both sides are unfastened.

5. Installing method for the product

5.1 Use ISOFIX attachment+ 3-point seat belt to install the child safety seat in forward facing position (Suitable for children 100-150 cm)

1. According to point 4.2 to connect ISOFIX attachment and ISOFIX attachment anchor.
2. Place the child seat on the car seat and adjust the seat to suitable position. (see page 8).
3. Pass the vehicle belt through the belt guider and bypasses the child's shoulder.
4. Pass the vehicle abdomen belt through the abdomen belt guider and bypasses the child's pelvis.
5. Lock the vehicle belt

5.2 Use 3-point seat belt to install the child safety seat in forward facing position (Suitable for children 100-150 cm)

1. Place the car seat on the vehicle seat (make sure that there is no space between the car seat and vehicle seat). Adjust the car seat to the suitable position (see 4.4).
2. Pass the vehicle belt through the belt guider and bypasses the child's shoulder.
3. Pass the vehicle abdomen belt through the abdomen belt guider and bypasses the child's pelvis.

6. Removing the cover

Release the headrest rubber band and remove the headrest cover

Release the back rest cover, then lift the cover from the bottom, and remove it

Attention:

if you need to install the cover, it can be reverse operations.

7. Cleaning and maintenance

1. In the daily using, it is necessary to regularly check the child safety seat.
2. In case of accident, the safety seat must be replaced.
   When the car seat is not in use, the child safety seat should be placed in a dry and ventilated place to avoid damp and mildew.
3. If there is dust on the surface of the child safety seat, we can use a damp sponge to wipe and ventilate it to dry.
4. If food or drink drops onto the seat belt by accident, pls remove the seat belt and rinse thoroughly with warm water and ventilate it to dry.
5. To clean the entire seat cover, please refer to the washing instructions.
6. Slight fading may occur during the first washing, which it is a normal situation.
