Automatic Power Off Function
The Majority Bowfell will automatically enter Standby Mode after 180 minutes if the connected TV is switched off.

- Volume +: Increase volume.
- Previous: Use in Bluetooth and USB modes to go back a track.
- Play/Pause: In Bluetooth/USB Mode, press to pause/play media.
- Volume -: Decrease volume
- PAIR: In Bluetooth Mode, press to pair with your device. Press and hold for 3 seconds to disconnect.
- FLAT: Restore default sound settings.
- ROCK: Set the ROCK Mode sound effect.
- MUTE: Mute/Unmute audio.
- Forward/Next: Use in Bluetooth/USB Mode to go fast forward to next song or chapter.
- MODE: Switch modes. Press repeatedly to change the soundbar mode to BT/Optical/USB/Line In.
- JAZZ: Set the JAZZ Mode sound effect.
PLEASE NOTE: The instructions within this user manual will refer to the button number on the soundbar (Ref 'number'), or buttons on remote control e.g. (Rem. 'number'), in accordance with the diagrams from pages 4 and 5.
Connecting to the Mains Supply
Ensure that the power supply voltage is within the range of 100V\~240V.
Any other voltage may cause damage to the unit.
Unwind the mains cable to its full length. Connect the mains plug to a mains socket. Ensure that the mains plug is fully inserted into the mains socket.
The mains plug/appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device. The disconnect device must remain readily operable.
Insert the power cable into the soundbar DC IN port (Ref.10) and the plug into AC wall socket.

Important
Ensure all audio cable connections of the unit are properly inserted before connecting the soundbar to the mains power socket.
Unplug the power cord from the outlet when the unit is not in use for an extended period of time.

Using the USB Input (for playback only)
The Majority Bowfell USB port is only to be used for playback from a USB stick of up to 64GB. The audio files supported are MP3, WMA, WAV.
- Insert your USB stick (up to 64GB) into the USB port (Ref.8) on the soundbar.
- Press the "MODE" button (Rem.21) on the remote control, or on the unit (Ref.4) repeatedly to switch to USB mode. The LED indicator should turn LIGHT BLUE.
•The soundbar will automatically start playing the audio files from the USB stick.

USB stickUsing the Optical Input
Connect the Majority Bowfell with an audio source/TV/PC or similar device with an Optical Audio Output using a Digital Optical Audio cable (not included).
- Step 1: Connect the soundbar with your device: Unplug and switch off the soundbar, and your device before connecting. Insert one end of the Optical cable into the soundbar (Ref.9), and the other end into your device's Optical output port. Once the cables are properly inserted into both the soundbar and your device, connect both to the mains and switch them on.
- Step 2: Change soundbar mode: Press the "MODE" button on the remote control (Rem.21) or on the main unit (Ref.4) repeatedly, to switch to Optical mode. The LED light will turn ORANGE.
- Step 3: Adjust your TV/PC device audio settings: Using the native controls on your connected device, ensure the audio settings are set to Optical Audio and PCM.

Connect the Majority Bowfell to a TV or other audio device with an RCA Output port using the 3.5mm to RCA audio cable included in the box.
- Step 1: Connect the soundbar with your device. Unplug and switch off the soundbar, and your device before connecting. Connect the RCA cable to the RCA output on the audio source, and the other end of 3.5 ~mm to the soundbar 'Line-In port' (Ref.7). Once the cables are properly inserted into both the soundbar and your device, connect both to the mains and switch them on
- Step 2: Change the soundbar mode. Press the "MODE" button on the remote control (Rem. 21) or the one on the unit (Ref.4) repeatedly to change the soundbar mode to LINE IN. The LED light will turn GREEN.
- Step 3: Adjust your connected device audio settings: Using the native controls on your connected device, ensure the audio settings are set to Analogue Stereo Output/RCA/Audio Output or PCM.

Using the Line In (AUX)
Connect the Majority Bowfell to a TV/ PC/ Tablet/MP3 Player or other audio device that has an audio output/headphone jack port using the 3.5mm to 3.5 mm audio cable included in the box.
- Step 1: Connect the soundbar to your device. Unplug and switch off the soundbar and your device before connecting. Insert one end of the 3.5mm audio cable (included) into the 'Line In' port on the unit (Ref.7) and the other end into the audio output/headphone output on your audio source (TV, PC, laptop, tablet, phone, etc).
- Step 2: Change the soundbar mode. Press the "MODE" button on the remote control (Rem.21) or the one on the unit (Ref.4) repeatedly, to change the soundbar mode into LINE IN. The LED light will turn GREEN.
•The audio played through the connected device will now be heard through the soundbar.
• If you're using this type of connection between the soundbar and your TV or PC and experience hissing/static noise, or if there's no sound at all, please check your TV/PC audio settings and ensure they are set to PCM.

The Majority Bowfell can be paired via Bluetooth with any Bluetooth-enabled device, such as a Smart TV, PC, phone, tablet, etc, to play audio through the soundbar.
- Press the "MODE" button on the remote control (Rem.21) or on the soundbar (Ref.4) repeatedly until Bluetooth mode is selected, indicated by the LED indicator flashing a blue light.
- Using the native controls on your Bluetooth device, select "Majority Bowfell" from the list when prompted to pair with the soundbar.
- If your device requests a password, enter the default "0000". If you encounter issues at this stage, please refer to the user manual for your Bluetooth device for instructions on pairing and connecting Bluetooth devices.
- When successfully connected, a beep will be heard from the soundbar, and the LED light indicator will show a steady blue light. After initial pairing, the unit will stay paired unless manually unpaired by the user, or until the device is switched off or reset.
- To unpair, hold down the "PAIR" button on the remote control (Rem.16) for 3 seconds. You can now pair the Bowfell with another Bluetooth device.
- If your device should become unpaired or you find it is unable to connect, repeat the steps above.
If you encounter an issue with your soundbar, please refer to the following checklist.

| No sound when using Bluetooth connection | Check the connection, ensure that the Bowfell is in the correct mode and is paired with the device you would like to play audio from. Increase the volume on the soundbar and on your device. Check whether external device requires password "0000". |
| Function disturbance | Switch off and unplug the soundbar. Leave the Bowfell for 2 minutes and switch on the unit again. If a particular mode is causing problems, please try an alternative connection such as Optical, AUX or Bluetooth. |
| Remote control function issues | Check whether the battery needs replacing. Replace if necessary. Check whether there are obstacles blocking the remote sensor. |
| Hissing/ Static/ Humming Noise | Check and ensure the audio setting of the input source (e.g. TV, PC, games console, DVD player, etc.) is set to PCM. Try a different cable or different type of connection. Ensure there are no crossed over cables which can cause humming interference noise. |
