Introduction

Eos loudspeakers are designed to deliver natural and accurate music reproduction. Eos loudspeakers are acoustically matched to obtain the best sound from your Eos Converge Amplified Receiver. To achieve the best sound from your Eos loudspeakers, please take a moment to read the instructions contained in this setup guide.

Speaker Placement

For best stereo imaging, the left and right speakers should be the same distance from their respective side walls. To reduce bass, it is best to place the speaker at least 12" (.3M) from the wall behind the speaker. It also is best for the speakers to be placed at an equal distance from the listening position

Note: Eos loudspeakers are magnetically shielded to allow them to be placed near a television or computer monitor. If you notice any discoloration or distortion of the television or monitor's display, move the speakers away from the device.

Speaker Wire Connection

When making connections, ensure that none of the strands of speaker wire come in contact with an adjoining speaker terminal.

Use your fingers loosen the screw terminal to reveal the connection hole. 1.

Insert the stripped end of the gold colored wire to the speaker terminal hole marked 2. “+” then tighten the screw terminal. Insert the stripped end of silver colored wire to the terminal hole marked “-” then tighten the screw terminal. The stripped portion should be caught firmly in the connector post.

Repeat this procedure to setup the second loudspeaker. 3.

Eos Loudspeaker Connection

Amplified Receiver Wire Connection

Follow the diagram below to connect your speakers to the Eos Converge Amplified Receiver.

Use your thumb or fingers press the spring-loaded terminal tab to open the connec-1. tion hole, once the stripped portion of the wire is in the securely in the hole, release the terminal tab. The wire should be caught firmly in the connector hole.

Connect the stripped end of gold colored wire to the speaker terminal hole marked 2. “+” (red). Insert the stripped end of silver colored wire to the speaker terminal hole marked “-” (black)

To help obtain a better connection, it is important to pull slightly the wires after these 3. have been secured in the terminals. This will cause the teeth inside the connectors to 'bite' into the wire.

Note - Mismatching of polarities will result in a distorted sense of sound direction. If this occurs, re-check the wiring.

Limited Warranty US

IntelliTouch warrants this product to be free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship under normal use and conditions for a period of 1-year from date of original purchase in the United States. In order to validate your warranty, you must register your product by going on-line (www.eoswireless.com), or by calling 877-465-3927 between Monday through Friday, 8:30AM to 5PM Pacific Time. For Warranty service outside the United States, contact the reseller that you purchased the Eos product from.

Should service be necessary under this warranty for any reason due to manufacturing defect during this 1-year period from date of original purchase, IntelliTouch will either repair the unit or replace it with a reconditioned unit at no charge.

U.S. Warranty Service - You must call (877-465-3927) to obtain a return authorization number prior to sending your product in for service.

Pack the unit in a well-padded, heavy, corrugated box.

Include a note with reason for return along with RMA number and return shipping • information.

Enclose proof of purchase.

Enclose your check or money order payable to IntelliTouch in the amount of \$20.00 to • cover shipping and handling costs.

Enclose your name, return address and contact number.

Ship the unit prepaid via UPS or parcel post (insured).

This warranty is void if the product is:

Damaged through negligence, misuse, abuse, moisture or accident.1.

Modified in any way.2.

Damaged because it is improperly connected to the equipment of other manufacturers.3.

This warranty does not cover:

Damage to equipment not properly connected to the product.1.

Costs incurred in the shipping of the product to IntelliTouch.2.

Damage or improper operation of unit caused by customer abuse, misuse, negli-3.

gence, or failure to follow instructions in the manual provided with the product.

ANY APPLICABLE IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO A PERIOD OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTY AS PROVIDED HEREIN BEGINNING WITH THE DATE OF ORIGINAL PURCHASE AT RETAIL AND NO WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, SHALL APPLY TO THIS PRODUCT THEREAFTER.
