- This device is not intended for use by people, including children, with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or people with a lack of experience or knowledge, unless someone responsible for their safety can supervise or instruct them beforehand on how to use the device. Children should be supervised to make sure they do not play with the device.

- Use this device only in accordance with the instructions given in this manual.

• Keep the device away from heat sources such as stoves, radiators, etc.
• Do not leave the device in direct sunlight.
• Never use this appliance in a room in which aerosols (sprays) are used or in a room where oxygen is administered.
• Do not use this device under a cover or under a cushion. Excessive heat can cause fire, electrocution or injury.
• This device is designed for domestic use only.
  • If you are concerned about your health or are having medical treatment, consult a doctor before using this device.
  • If you experience any pain when using this device, stop using it immediately and consult your doctor.
• Do not use this appliance for longer than 15 minutes in total. Wait for one hour between each use.
• Never use this device on a body part that is swollen or inflamed or if you have a skin rash.
• You must not use this device without first taking medical advice in the following cases: if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if you have diabetes, if your skin has tattoos or moles, if you have skin cancer, if you have unusual skin discolouration, if you are taking any medication or if you have any problem with

your hands or feet, such as nail fungus or over-sensitive skin. If you are unsure, consult your doctor before using this device.

PRESENTATION

Thank you for choosing the LANAFORM PEDILA electric rasp. Providing real foot care, this portable electric rasp will make your feet naturally soft. Ideal for damaged feet, this exfoliating device has been designed to smooth the skin on your feet and heels. With its two rotating abrasive rollers, dead skin on your feet will be easily removed.

PREPARATION PRIOR TO USE 2

Before using your PEDILA for the first time, do not forget to insert the batteries, checking that the polarities are correct in the compartment provided for this purpose. To do this, slide the battery compartment towards the bottom and pull it off to remove it from the main body of the device. Do the reverse to close the compartment again.

DISMANTLING AND ASSEMBLING THE ROLLER 3

With your PEDILA electric rasp, you can choose the exfoliation intensity by changing the roller. The roller already inserted in the device is a fine-grain roller. It will soften areas where slight calluses have formed. The other roller supplied is coarser grained and will help you remove more stubborn calluses.

1 Remove the protective cover (2).
2 Press the button (5) to remove the abrasive roller.
3 Remove the roller and replace it with the spare roller (4) supplied with the device. The roller will be in the correct position when you hear a click.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1 Remove the protective cover (2).
2 Slide the on/off operating button (6) upwards.
3 Take hold of the main body (1) and apply it to your feet using circular movements across your calluses to remove any dead skin.

Do not keep the device in the same place, but instead move it across a large area of rough skin so that you do not irritate your skin.

If you feel the slightest pain or irritation, stop using the device immediately.

4 Slide the on/off operating button downwards after use.

5 Rinse and wipe your feet to remove any dead skin residue.

Carefully dry your feet and apply a moisturising cream to make them even softer.

MAINTENANCE

The PEDILA electric rasp is not water-resistant, so never submerge the whole device in water or any other liquid.

To clean the device, use the cleaning brush supplied with the device and/or remove the roller to clean the surface by rinsing it under running water.

You can clean the body of the device with a clean, damp cloth.

Dry the roller and the body of the device with a clean, dry cloth before storing and replace the protective cover on the roller.

STORAGE

Having cleaned and dried the device, store it in a dry, cool place out of the reach of children.

DIAGNOSIS

If the breakdown persists, do not try to repair or open the device yourself, but return it to the supplier.

ADVICE ON WASTE DISPOSAL

The packaging consists entirely of environmentally-friendly materials that can be taken to your local waste sorting centre to be used as secondary materials. Cardboard can be placed in a paper collection container. Packing film must be taken to your local sorting and recycling centre.

When you are no longer using the device, dispose of it in an environmentally responsible manner and in compliance with the statutory requirements. Remove the battery beforehand and dispose of it at a collection point so that it can be recycled.

Used batteries should on no account be placed in household refuse.

LIMITED WARRANTY

LANAFORM guarantees that this product will be free from any material and workmanship defects for a period of two years from the date it was purchased, other than as specified below.

The LANAFORM warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear on this product. In addition, the warranty on this LANAFORM product does not cover damage caused as a result of any abusive, inappropriate or incorrect use, accident, attachment of any unauthorised accessory, modification of the product or any other situation of whatever kind, beyond the control of LANAFORM.

LANAFORM shall not be held liable for any type of incidental, consequential or special damage.

Any implied warranties of the product's fitness for purpose are limited to a period of two years from the original purchase date on presentation of a copy of the proof of purchase. Upon receipt, LANAFORM will repair or replace your device, as appropriate, and return it to you. The warranty may only be used at the LANAFORM Service Centre. Any maintenance and repair work carried out on this product by any person other than the LANAFORM Service Centre will invalidate this warranty
