1 Safety instructions

Please read before first commissioning the safety instructions carefully and observe the safety instructions to prevent damage due to misuse, improper operation, and improper environmental conditions to be avoided. Keep these for later reference.

Check the device after removing the packaging for damage. Do not put the unit in case of suspected corruption in operation and consult a specialist. The recyclable packaging material must not be stored or disposed accessible for young children, but must be disposed of properly.

This appliance is only for the purpose for which it was explicitly developed. Any other use is regarded as improper and therefore dangerous. The supplier is not liable for damage to persons and / or property damage due to an improper or incorrect use.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. Please make sure to place the device on a suitable and waterproof surfaces, so that spilled liquids can not cause harm.

Repairs to electrical appliances must only be carried out by trained personnel only. Improperly performed repairs and alterations to the equipment can have dangerous consequences for the user according to what the warranty will be rejected.

• Use this fan only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause electrical shock, fire or injury to persons.
• Do not operate the fan with a damaged power cable or after the fan malfunctions or has been dropped in any way.
• Do not place the fan on an uneven surface as otherwise the fan may tip or fall.
• For proper operation, the fan should be placed on a smooth, non-combustible, level surface.
• Do not immerse or expose the appliance or cable to rain, moisture or any other liquid.

• This appliance should not be used in the immediate vicinity of water (for example, bathtubs, sinks, swimming pools, etc.) as the likelihood of splashing is very high.
• Switch off the appliance and remove the plug from the outlet when the appliance is not in use. Do not operate the appliance in close proximity to curtains or similar.
• Do not insert or allow any objects to enter any openings on the fan.
• If the supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

3 Instructions for use

Fan operation

Always operate the fan in an upright position following all the instructions and recommendations in this manual.

Fan connection

Plug the power cable into the back of the fan base and connect the other end to any USB port. Be sure that the USB connector is properly inserted in the USB port. A loose connection many cause overheating and damage to the USB connector.

Note: To avoid overloading the USB port, do not plug the fan into a USB port that is supplying other electrical requirements.

To start the fan, press the ON/OFF button on the side of the fan. The red light on the side of the fan will illuminate to indicate that the fan is ON. Press the ON/OFF button again to turn the fan off. Unplug the fan when not in use.

Adjustable tilt

The fan is adjustable to 2 angles: 45 degrees or 85 degrees.

Note: Always use the fan in an upright position. Do not use the fan in the storage position.

Place your thumb in the opening at the back of the fan base and rotate the base downwards until it clicks into the first position (45-degree angle). Rotate the base downwards again until it clicks into second position (85-degree angle).

Battery usage

The fan can be used without the USB cable. Remove the battery cover from the fan base and insert four (4) AA batteries. Make sure to insert the batteries according to the polarity diagram inside the battery compartment.

Battery warnings

• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not mix standard batteries with rechargeable batteries.
• Do not insert the batteries backwards. Insert batteries with the correct polarity (+/-). There is a risk of explosion or leakage if the batteries are incorrectly inserted.
• Always remove discharged batteries from the appliance to avoid damage from possible battery leakage.
  • Always protect batteries from fire as there is a risk of explosion or leakage.
• Do not short-circuit the batteries.

4 Cleaning and maintenance

Follow these instructions to care for your fan correctly and safely. Please remember:

• Always unplug the fan before cleaning or assembly.
• Do not allow water to drip on or into the fan motor.
• Be sure to use a soft cloth, moistened with a mild soap solution.
• Do not use any of the following as cleaners: cleaning solvents, thinners or benzene.

5 Fan storage

Keep the original packaging to store the fan. Roll up the cable for storage to avoid damage.

6 Warranty / Disposal / Technical change

Warranty

The Products are controlled just before delivery. If despite a lack of your product, try trustfully your seller. Please bring your receipt, as this is to be submitted for each warranty. The guarantee period is 24 months from date of purchase.

Disposal

The device must be disposed of properly. The device can be distributed free of charge for disposal at each dealer.
