INSERTING AND REMOVING THE BATTERY

The light is intended for use with the following batteries: brennenstuhl® professionalLINE AB 1805 battery BOSCH battery GBA 18 V x,x Ah (up to max. 6.0Ah) Professional

Depending on the version, a battery is included in the delivery or can be purchased separately.

The battery can be quickly and easily installed. Open the two locks A and fold the battery cover B down. Insert the charged battery C into the battery compartment D from above until you feel it lock into the end position (last of the two locking positions). To remove the battery, press the battery unlock button E and pull the battery upward and out of the battery compartment.

The light may only be used if the battery cover is properly locked!

Remove the batteries from the unit in the event of longer periods of disuse!

SWITCHING THE LAMP LIGHT ON/OFF

Press the button F to switch the light on. The light will then be lit at 50% brightness. To switch to maximum brightness (100%), press the F button again. Please note: When selecting 50%, the lighting time (when using a battery) of the lamp extends in comparison to the 100% setting as it consumes less energy. Press the F button again to turn the lamp off.

If the light is connected to the mains, the light is operated, as a standard, with mains voltage. In the event of a power failure or it the power plug is disconnected, the light will automatically switch to battery mode if a battery with a sufficient charge is installed in the battery compartment D.

If the battery is nearly empty, the LED light will blink 5 times. The light will then remain on for approx. 10 minutes at 50% brightness, until the deep discharge protection switches the light off. This provides sufficient time to replace the battery or stop working. After the battery-operated light automatically shuts off, do not keep pressing the on/off switch. The battery may be damaged.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CHARGING THE BATTERY

Only use one of the chargers listed in the following.

Only these chargers are calibrated to the Li-Ion batteries used in your battery-operated light.

brennenstuhl® professionalLINE CB 1801 charger

BOSCH AL 1820 CV Professional charger

BOSCH AL 1860 CV Professional charger

Note: The battery is delivered with a partial charge. To ensure the full capacity of the battery, fully charge the battery in the charger prior to the first use. The Li-Ion battery can be charged at any time without reducing its service life. Interrupting the charging process does not harm the battery. The Li-Ion battery is protected against deep discharges by the "electronic cell protection (ECP)". If the battery is discharged, the battery-

operated light will be shut off by a circuit breaker.

PIVOTING THE LIGHT HEAD

The light head G can be pivoted as needed. To set the tilt angle, loosen the locking screw H (turn counterclockwise),

set the desired tilt angle and tighten the locking screw again (turn clockwise).

CABLE HOLDER / SUSPENSION DEVICE

The light is equipped with a cable holder ① which can house the power cable during transport or when used with a battery.

Unfolding the cable holder:

The cable holder is folded back when the unit is delivered.

To use the cable holder, pull the two brackets slightly upward and then turn them outward until they reach the position shown in the illustration. Now the cable can be coiled on the two holders.

If the cable holder is unwound, the cable holder can also be used to hang the light, e.g. on a railing, etc.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

If the battery is no longer functional, it must be replaced.

The battery-operated light does not require maintenance.
