This appliance generates heat.

The kettle switches off automatically when water boils. You can switch the kettle off before water boils using a switch. When the kettle switches off automatically (or when it was switched off manually), it may take some time (approximately 15 - 20 seconds to cool down) to be ready for re-use.

The kettle must only be used with the supplied base.

1. Two touch sensors (boil / keep warm)

a. ON/OFF touch sensor: touch sensor: Touch the ON/OFF sensor to start heating water. The default setting for the water temperature is 100^ C. Press and hold for approximately 3 seconds to switch to the keep warm mode.
b. Set temperature touch sensor: Touch the set temperature sensor to select the temperature that suits your needs.

2. Indicator

a. Temperature display is the water boiling mode, it displays the actual temperature of the water in the kettle. In keep-warm

mode, it displays the kettle's set temperature;

b. The water boiling indicator lights up when the kettle is in water boiling mode.
c. Keep Warm Indicator lights up when the kettle is in Keep Warm mode.

3. Operate the appliance

When you turn on the kettle, the boil water indicator, keep warm indicator and temperature indicator flash and the appliance beeps twice. Then the water boiling and keep warm indicators turn off and the temperature indicator stays on. The kettle displays the current water temperature.

4. Water boiling function

a. Boil the water: when the appliance is plugged in, touch the ON/OFF sensor to directly use the 100°C water boiling mode. When heating starts, the appliance beeps and the boiling indicator lights up. When the water temperature in the kettle reaches 100°C, the appliance beeps twice and the water boiling indicator will turn off. The kettle will turn off automatically. b. Select the temperature to heat the water: when the appliance is plugged in, touch the Set temperature sensor to adjust the temperature to your needs. Then touch the On/Off sensor. The kettle turns on and the boiling indicator lights up. When the desired temperature is reached, the kettle turns off. When you touch the On/Off sensor while in the keep warm mode, the kettle will turn off.

5. The Keep Warm function

When the appliance is plugged in, touch the "Set Temperature" sensor to select one of the 7 temperatures 40^ , 50^ , 60^ , 70^ , 80^ or 90^ (Keep Warm feature is not available for the 100^ setting). Once you have selected the desired temperature, touch and hold the ON / OFF sensor for approximately 3 seconds and the keep warm indicator will flash 5 times. Once it is on, the water begins to boil. When the water temperature in the kettle reaches the set temperature, the appliance will beep twice and the appliance turns off. The kettle cools down. When the temperature drops enough, the kettle starts heating water again. It stops heating the water when it reaches the set temperature. The cycle begins again. During the cycle, the keep warm indicator is always on and the boiling water indicator is off. If the initial water temperature poured into the kettle is higher than the set temperature, then the keep warm indicator will flash 5 times. Then it stops flashing. Beep sounds 5 times as a special reminder. The kettle cools down to the set temperature and then starts to heats the water. Keep warm time: Keep warm cycle continues for 2 hours and then the appliance and the indicator turn off.

6. Time and temperature

The water temperature display accuracy is ±5^ (for at least 0.5l of water in the kettle). Temperature display accuracy is lower for less water.

7. Turn off the appliance

Touch the On / Off sensor at any time. The appliance and indicators will turn off. The temperature indicator continues to show temperature. The temperature indicator turns off after about 20 minutes.

8. Memory feature

The keep warm mode has a memory function. If the water temperature in the kettle is higher than the keep warm temperature the keep warm function continue to operate. If the water temperature in the kettle is lower than the set keep warm temperature, the appliance will turn off.

CLEANING:

Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance from the wall outlet and allow it to cool down completely.

  1. Do not immerse the kettle, cord and power base in water and protect against contact with moisture.
  2. Wipe the outside of the kettle with a damp cloth or mild cleaning agent; never use any poisonous cleaning agents.
  3. Remember to clean the filter regularly. To facilitate cleaning, remove the filter by pressing the filter tab inside the kettle, and reinstall it after cleaning.

NOTE: To prevent matting, do not use any abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, steel or wood to clean the outside of the kettle.

  1. When the kettle is not in use and in storage, you can wind the power cord under the kettle base.

DESCALE YOUR APPLIANCE

If the appliance switches off before the water boils, it means descaling is required. Descale your kettle periodically, as minerals dissolved in the tap water can form limescale on the bottom of the kettle, which reduces the water heating efficiency. You can use a commercially available descaler and follow the instructions on its packaging. You can also use white vinegar and follow the instructions below.
