USER MANUAL 18310016 Gastronoma
INTRODUCTION To get the best out of your new pizza oven, please read through these instructions carefully before using it for the first time. Take particular note of the safety precautions. We also recommend that you keep the instructions for future reference, so that you can refer to them at a later date. WARNINGS
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
- Please read these operating instructions carefully before using the device. Save the instructions for future reference.36
- Use the product only as indicated in the instructions.
- Improper use will invalidate the warranty.
- The product is not intended for commercial or professional use, but only for domestic use at home and environments such as office, shopping, work, hotel, bed & breakfast and farm environments.
- This appliance is not for outdoor use.
- Check if the voltage indicated on the device corresponds to your local mains voltage before connecting the device to mains power.
- Use a grounded electrical outlet.
- Do not use if the device, the power cord or plug is damaged.37
- Protect device, cable and plug from contact with water. Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids.
- Protect device, cable and plug from contact with heat sources.
- Disconnect from mains power supply when not in use. Store the device preferably in its original packaging.
- Ensure drying your hands when disconnecting from mains power supply. Pull the plug, not the cord.
- Do not use the pizza oven in damp areas.
- Keep the device out of the reach of children and mentally incompetent persons. Children are only allowed to use the pizza oven under adult supervision.38
- Keep the device in proper condition and do not leave it unattended when turned on.
- Place the device on a firm and flat surface.
- Let the device at least to cool down for 30 minutes before cleaning and/or storing.
- Do not move the device during operation.
- Different parts of the pizza oven get very hot. Do not touch to prevent burns.
- WARNING: Do not lift the ceramic dome during the heating process. Let it cool down before lifting it.
- The metal of the spatulas gets very hot. Hold the spatulas at the handles.
- Ensure that the pizza oven stands free and does not come in contact with combustible materials. Do not cover the pizza oven.39
- Do not prepare meat in the pizza oven, because fat from the meat can splash onto the heating element and can cause fire.
- Use the pizza oven only with the ceramic lid placed on top.
- The ceramic lid is very fragile!
- The device and accessories are not suitable for the dishwasher.
- Repairs only by authorized service departments. Do not open the device.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- Children should not play with the device. Keep children under the age of 8 away from the machine and the power cord.40

- The surface of the appliance can become very hot and cause burns, get it out of reach by children and particular attention shall be paid where children and vulnerable people are present.

The packaging material can be reused or recycled. Ensure to dispose of the packaging materials at the appropriate waste disposal sites. Contact your supplier immediately if you detect transport damage.
INSTALLATION Clean baking sheet and spatulas before using the pizza oven for the first time. During the first use of the pizza oven slight smoke and a specific smell can occur. This is normal and will disappear after a short while. OPERATION Place the pizza oven on a stable and flat surface. Ensure the surface is heat and splash resistant. Ventilate the room during the use of the pizza oven. Insert the plug into the wall outlet. The red indicator lights up. Let the pizza oven pre-heat for 10 minutes. Slide the pizza on the spatula in the pizza oven. Leave the pizza on the spatula, allowing you to easily remove the pizza from the oven again. Bake the pizza 5 to 7 minutes. Place the pizza on your plate. Please note that the spatula is very hot; place it on a heat- resistant surface. You can also keep the pizzas warm on the top of the specially designed ceramic dome. NOTE: This dome is always warm to use. So don’t just lift it, let it cool down. After use, pull out the plug to switch off the appliance. The red indicator light goes out. The chassis is equipped with an automatic thermostat. In case of overheating, the appliance will automatically switch off. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Ensure that the power is switched off immediately and leave at least 30 minutes to cool down before cleaning and storing. The ceramic lid must have completely cooled down before getting into contact with water. Do not place the warm lid on a cold surface, because this can damage it by cooling too quickly. There is no need to clean the ceramic lid after normal use. The ceramic lid is not dishwasher-safe. The device and accessories are not suitable for the dishwasher. Clean the exterior of the device with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. Do not use hard brushes, abrasives, scourers or liquids such as alcohol, petrol or acetone. Dry well after cleaning with a dry cloth. Under no circumstances immerse the device in water. Store the device in its original packaging in a dry, cool place. Do not store if it is not completely dry. Grease the baking sheet slightly if the pizza oven is not used for an extended period of time. RECIPES Pizza Dough 500 g flour Knife point of salt 4 tablespoons olive oil 20 g fresh yeast or 1 packet dry yeast 250 ml lukewarm water Recipe with dry yeast: - Take a bowl and mix the flour, olive oil,salt, dried yeast and lukewarm water. Recipe with fresh yeast: - Take a bowl and mix the flour with theolive oil and salt. - Dissolve the fresh yeast in lukewarm waterand stir into a smooth substance. - Mix the lump-free yeast with the flower. - Knead into a smooth dough. Optionally use a blender or food processor. - Cover the bowl with a cloth and let it rise for 45 minutes until the volume is doubled. - Sprinkle the dough with flour and roll it out to a thickness of 3 mm. Turn the dough occasionallyand sprinkle with flour to prevent it to stick. - Use the round dough form to cut out the pizza bases. Tomato Sauce 1 tin peeled tomatoes 1 small tin tomato paste Pepper & salt Oregano 2 tablespoons olive oil 2 cloves of garlic - Finely chop the peeled tomatoes. - Mix all ingredients into a sauce. Topping recommendation Cheeses: mozzarella, grated Parmesan cheese, grated Gouda cheese, etc. Seafood: smoked salmon, prawns, canned tuna, etc. Vegetables : green peppers, rocket, olives, mushrooms, spinach, onion, etc. Herbs: basil, pepper, salt, Italian spices, etc. Meat: ham, bacon, salami, etc.44
Place the toppings for the pizzas in cups on the table. - Grease the spatulas with a little oil and place them on your plate. - Place one pizza base on the spatula. - Give some tomato sauce on the pizza base.
