CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
CLEANING THE MACHINE
Clean the machine with a slightly moist soft cloth. Dry the machine o well. Never submerge the machine in water!
CLEANING THE DUST RESERVOIR
1. Never exceed the maximum indicator on the dust container. Empty the dust container by pulling the
round release button. The dust container falls open and you can then remove the coarse dirt.
2. Remove the wand. Pull the dust container release again. Unscrew the dust container clockwise from
the motor unit. The dust container contains the following parts: - HEPA lter: this dust lter captures the small dust particles. - Plastic coarse debris lter: this ensures that the large dust particles remain in the dirt receptacle. - Dirt receptacle: this is where all large dirt particles are collected.
3. Remove the HEPA lter from the coarse lter, paying attention to the lock symbols.
4. Remove the coarse lter from the dust container by pushing it upwards from the bottom of the dust
5. You can now clean all the parts separately. We recommend you do this with compressed air. If you
do not have compressed air, you can wash out the lters. Make sure they are completely dry before using them again.
6. Replace the HEPA lter in the coarse debris lter.
7. Put the lters back in the dirt receptacle.
8. Put the dirt receptacle back on the motor section by turning it counter-clockwise. A click will be
heard when the dust container is in place. We advise replacing the lters regularly to ensure an optimal operation of the machine. Dirty lters will reduce the suction power drastically. After every cleaning, clean the dust reservoir and the lters to extend the life span of your machine.40 DO242SV
