• Turn the battery cover (5) anticlock- wise and remove it.

• Insert 1 x 1.5 V AA battery. Make sure to turn the battery as shown on the edge of the battery com- partment. Replace the battery cover and lock it by turning it clockwise so that the arrow on the battery cover lines up with the dot on the appliance. FITTING THE TRIMMER ATTACHMENT

• Attach the required trimmer attachment to the appliance so that the pins on it go into the grooves in the appliance and the motor shaft (B) goes into the socket (A) in the trimmer attachment. Turn the trimmer attachment clockwise to lock it.

• Switch the appliance

• Comb the eyebrows, sideburns or beard using the comb (7) provided. Trimming your eyebrows

• Trim the eyebrows from above by slowly and gently moving the trimmer attachment’s blade (8) downwards.

• Trim the eyebrows from below by hold- ing the eyelid closed slowly and gently moving the blade upwards.

• Do not trim the eye- brows too close. Trimming nose and ear hair

• Place the encased blade on the trimmer attachment (2) just inside the nostril or ear. Move the blade so that any hairs are Trimming bears and sideburns

• Position the blade in towards the sideburn or beard to create sharp edges. CLEANING

• Shake the appliance so that the cut hairs fall out of the trim- mer blade.

• Remove the trimmer blade and blow on it to remove any dust and hair residues.
