INSERTING THE BATTERY
- Turn the battery cover (5) anticlockwise and remove it.
- Insert 1 x 1.5 V AA battery. Make sure to turn the battery as shown on the edge of the battery compartment. Replace the battery cover and lock it by turning it clockwise so that the arrow on the battery cover lines up with the dot on the appliance.

• Turn the fitted trim-mer attachment anticlockwise and lift it off the motor shaft.
- Attach the required trimmer attachment to the appliance so that the pins on it go into the grooves in the appliance and the motor shaft (B) goes into the socket (A) in the trimmer attachment. Turn the trimmer attachment clockwise to lock it.

USE
- Switch the appliance on and off using the on/off button (3).
- Comb the eyebrows, sideburns or beard using the comb (7) provided.
Trimming nose and ear hair
- Place the encased blade on the trimmer attachment (2) just inside the nostril or ear. Move the blade so that any hairs are cut off.
Trimming your eyebrows
- Trim the eyebrows from above by slowly and gently moving the trimmer attachment's blade (8) downwards.
- Trim the eyebrows from below by holding the eyelid closed with one finger and slowly and gently moving the blade upwards.
- Do not trim the eye-brows too close.
Trimming bears and sideburns
- Position the blade in towards the sideburn or beard to create sharp edges.
CLEANING
- Shake the appliance so that the cut hairs fall out of the trim-mer blade.
- Brush the trimmer blade using the cleaning brush (9) supplied.

- Remove the trimmer blade and blow on it to remove any dust and hair residues.
- Remove the battery if the appliance is not to be used for a prolonged period.
