How to install the RUF-10 HH system?
Attach the antennas to the receiver, connect the power supply, turn on the device. Perform an automatic frequency search by pressing Menu then Select. Open the battery compartment of the microphone, insert two AA batteries, turn on the microphone, point the IR port at the receiver and press Sync.
How to pair the microphone with the receiver?
Point the IR port of the microphone towards the IR receiver, then press the Sync button on the receiver. The LED flashes orange and turns green when the connection is established.
What type of batteries to use and how to replace them?
Use two 1.5V AA batteries, respecting polarity. Open the battery compartment cover (on the microphone or bodypack) and insert the batteries. Close the cover after synchronisation.
How to activate mute mode?
Briefly press the On/Off/Mute switch on the microphone (or bodypack). The LED turns orange indicating mute mode. Press again to restore sound.
What is the maximum range of the system?
The range can reach up to 100 meters in open space without obstacles. Walls and objects may reduce range.
How to manually adjust groups and channels?
On the receiver, press Menu three times, use Select to choose the desired group or channel, confirm with Sync. On the transmitter, hold Select, release on Group or Channel to adjust.
The receiver shows no signal, what to do?
Check that the microphone is on (green LED), the batteries are charged, and the transmitter is on the same group/channel as the receiver. Perform a new IR sync or an automatic frequency search.
Can I use multiple RUF-10 systems together?
Yes, you can use multiple systems by assigning different groups or channels. Turn off already configured receivers before configuring a new one to avoid interference.
How to clean the microphone?
Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the housing. Never use solvents, aerosol products or greasy substances. Avoid moisture inside the microphone.
