Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.

1. Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage

stated on the rating label of the appliance and that the wall outlet is grounded.

2. This appliance is intended for household use only. Do not

use for industrial or commercial purposes.

3. Check the power cord regularly for visible damage. If the

cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec in order to avoid any type of danger.

4. Always use it with the fins in an upright position.

5. Do not place the appliance close to heat sources, flammable

substances, wet surfaces where it can fall or be pushed into water or allow it to come into contact with water or other liquids. Do not operate outdoors.

21. Supervise young children to make sure that they do not

play with the appliance. Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is being used by or near children. Battery safety instructions (remote control)

1. When the remote control is not to be used for a long time,

remove the batteries from the remote control to prevent it from leaking.

2. If the batteries leak, wipe away the leakage inside the battery

compartment and replace the batteries with new ones. If you touch chemicals with your skin, wash immediately.

3. Do not use any batteries other than those specified.

4. Do not heat or disassemble batteries.

5. Never throw them in fire or water.

6. Do not carry or store batteries with other metallic objects.

Doing so could cause batteries to short circuit, leak or explode.

1. Heated towel rack bars

• Take the product out of the box.

• Remove all packaging materials. Keep the original box.

• Make sure all the components are included and in good conditions, otherwise, contact immediately the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec.

The control panel must be on the bottom part of the appliance. - Safety distances: - The distance between the bath/shower and the appliance must be, at least, 60 cm. - The distance between the ceiling and the appliance must be, at least, 15 cm. - The distance between the floor and the appliance must be, at least, 15 cm.

• Use a drill to make 4 8-mm holes in diameter.

• Introduce 4 studs in the holes.

• Use the ST4x40 screws to fix the outer fixing elements to the wall. - Use the 4 ST3.5x20 screws to fix the 4 inner fixing elements and the 4 front fixing elements to the appliance. - Fix the appliance’s inner fixing elements into the wall’s outer fixing elements and use the M5x14 screws to fix them at the correct distance from the wall. - Cover the 4 front fixing element’s caps.

• Place the heater on flat stable surface.

• Connect the device to a power supply and turn it on from the bottom switch. It will beep indicating is turned on.

• Press , the panel will display the room temperature. Then, use the control panel or the remote control to set power, temperature and time. Note: The touch screen buttons and the remote control buttons correspond to the same functions.

On/Off When the On/off button is pressed, the On/off icon on the top part of the display lights up. The device will automatically start operating in low-power heating. Mode Press the mode button to switch from low-power heating ( ) to high-power heating ( ). When high-power heating is selected, the device will produce hot air according to the temperature set. Temperature Press to set the desired heating temperature. It can be set from 5 °C to 40 °C. Internal temperature is displayed every time the appliance is started up. The temperature can be set when the appliance is in stand-by or heating. When the room temperature reaches the set one, the high-power setting is deactivated and the low temperature power remains active. When room temperature is 2 degrees over the set temperature, both the high and lower temperature powers will stop operating. The device will begin operating again only when temperature decreases 2 degrees with respect to the set temperature. Timer Use the timer button to set the desired operating time of the appliance. It can be set from 1 to 24 hours. Child lock Press and hold this button on the remote control for 3 seconds to activate the child lock function, and press and hold for another 3 seconds to deactivate it. This safety system will avoid children from operating the device by accident.

- Disconnect the appliance from the power supply and allow it to cool down before cleaning. - Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the product’s surface. - Clean dust from the device’s surface and vents regularly. - Clean and store the device in a safe, dry place if it is not going to be used for a long period of time. - Do not wet the device and avoid contact with water or any other liquid. - Avoid the use of abrasive cleaning agents or scouring pads as these could damage the product.

Old appliances must be collected separately, in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain, and reduce the impact on human health and the environment. If the product has a built-in battery or uses batteries, they should be removed from the appliance and disposed of appropriately. Consumers must contact their local authorities or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of old appliances and/or their batteries.

9. TECHNICAL SUPPORT SERVICE AND WARRANTY

This product is under warranty for 2 years from the date of purchase, as long as the proof of purchase is submitted, the product is in perfect physical condition, and it has been given proper use, as explained in this instruction manual.

• The product has been used for purposes other than those intended for it, misused, beaten, exposed to moisture, immersed in liquid or corrosive substances, as well as any other fault attributable to the customer.

• The product has been disassembled, modified, or repaired by persons, not authorised by the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec.

• Faults deriving from the normal wear and tear of its parts, due to use.

• The warranty service covers every manufacturing defects of your appliance for 2 years, based on current legislation, except consumable parts. In the event of misuse, the warranty will not apply.
