How to install the Ready Warm 9770 Ceramic Towel heated towel rail?

Drill 4 holes of 8 mm in the wall, insert the wall plugs, fix the external elements with ST4x40 screws, then fix the internal elements on the device with ST3.5x20 screws. Hang the device on the wall elements and adjust with M5x14 screws. Respect safety distances: 60 cm from the bathtub/shower, 15 cm from the ceiling and floor.

How to turn on and set the temperature?

Plug in the device and activate the connection switch at the bottom. Press the On/Off button (⏻). Use the temperature buttons (5 °C to 40 °C) on the touch panel or remote control to set the desired temperature.

How to use the timer?

Press the Timer button on the control panel or remote control to program the operating time from 1 to 24 hours. The device will automatically turn off after the selected time.

How to activate child safety?

On the remote control, press and hold the Child Safety button for 3 seconds to activate the function. Repeat the operation for 3 seconds to deactivate it. This prevents children from accidentally turning on the device.

Why does the device turn off by itself?

The device automatically turns off when the room temperature exceeds the set temperature by 2 °C. It restarts when the temperature drops 2 °C below the set point. This is normal to save energy and maintain temperature.

How to clean the towel rail?

1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.

1. Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the rating label of the appliance and that the wall outlet is grounded.
2. This appliance is intended for household use only. Do not use for industrial or commercial purposes.
3. Check the power cord regularly for visible damage. If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec in order to avoid any type of danger.
4. Always use it with the fins in an upright position.
5. Do not place the appliance close to heat sources, flammable substances, wet surfaces where it can fall or be pushed into water or allow it to come into contact with water or other liquids. Do not operate outdoors.
6. Do not place the appliance immediately below a power socket.
7. Always unplug the device when not in use.
8. Do not disconnect the device from the cord, use the plug instead.
9. Do not move the appliance while it is operating to avoid damage and risk of fire.

Battery safety instructions (remote control)

3. BEFORE USE

• Take the product out of the box.
- Remove all packaging materials. Keep the original box.
- Make sure all the components are included and in good conditions, otherwise, contact immediately the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec.

4. PRODUCT ASSEMBLY

The control panel must be on the bottom part of the appliance.

• Safety distances:
• The distance between the bath/shower and the appliance must be, at least, 60 cm.
• The distance between the ceiling and the appliance must be, at least, 15 cm.
• The distance between the floor and the appliance must be, at least, 15 cm.

Installation:

4 x Ø 450 m 800 m > 250 mm > 400 mm

• Use a drill to make 4 8-mm holes in diameter.
• Introduce 4 studs in the holes.
• Use the ST4x40 screws to fix the outer fixing elements to the wall.

The wall

• Use the 4 ST3.5x20 screws to fix the 4 inner fixing elements and the 4 front fixing elements to the appliance.
• Fix the appliance's inner fixing elements into the wall's outer fixing elements and use the M5x14 screws to fix them at the correct distance from the wall.
• Cover the 4 front fixing element's caps.

5. OPERATION

• Place the heater on flat stable surface.
• Connect the device to a power supply and turn it on from the bottom switch. It will beep indicating is turned on.
• Press ⏻, the panel will display the room temperature. Then, use the control panel or the remote control to set power, temperature and time.

Note: The touch screen buttons and the remote control buttons correspond to the same functions.

On/Off

When the On/off button is pressed, the On/off icon on the top part of the display lights up. The device will automatically start operating in low-power heating.

Mode

Press the mode button to switch from low-power heating ( = ) to high-power heating ( ≡ ). When high-power heating is selected, the device will produce hot air according to the temperature set.

Temperature

Press 🔒 to set the desired heating temperature. It can be set from 5 °C to 40 °C. Internal temperature is displayed every time the appliance is started up. The temperature can be set when the appliance is in stand-by or heating. When the room temperature reaches the set one, the high-power setting is deactivated and the low temperature power remains active. When room temperature is 2 degrees over the set temperature, both the high and lower temperature powers will stop operating. The device will begin operating again only when temperature decreases 2 degrees with respect to the set temperature.

Timer

Use the timer button to set the desired operating time of the appliance. It can be set from 1 to 24 hours.

Child lock

Press and hold this button on the remote control for 3 seconds to activate the child lock function, and press and hold for another 3 seconds to deactivate it. This safety system will avoid children from operating the device by accident.

6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Disconnect the appliance from the power supply and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
• Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the product's surface.
• Clean dust from the device's surface and vents regularly.
• Clean and store the device in a safe, dry place if it is not going to be used for a long period of time.
• Do not wet the device and avoid contact with water or any other liquid.
• Avoid the use of abrasive cleaning agents or scouring pads as these could damage the product.
