How to use the Black & Decker BXPC1100E popcorn machine?

Unwind the cable completely, fill the corn container (max 1 cup), place the measuring cup on the lid, put a bowl under the outlet, plug in and turn on. Popcorn is ready in 2-3 minutes. Never add oil, butter or salt directly into the appliance.

What is the maximum corn capacity?

The maximum capacity is one measuring cup (approx. 100 g) per use. Do not exceed this amount to avoid malfunction.

Do I need to add oil or butter?

No, the appliance works with hot air without oil. Add seasonings (salt, melted butter) after cooking, in the serving bowl.

What to do if popcorn burns or does not come out?

If after 3 minutes there are still unpopped kernels, turn off and unplug the appliance, remove the excess corn. Make sure not to overfill the container. Cooking time may vary depending on the type of corn.

How to clean the machine?

Unplug it and wait for it to cool completely. Clean the outside with a damp cloth and a little mild detergent. Never immerse the appliance in water nor use abrasive products.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Before use:

Make sure that all the product's packaging has been removed.
Before using the product for the first time, clean the parts that will come into contact with food in the manner described in the cleaning section.

Use:

Extend the cable completely before plugging it in.
Connect the appliance to the mains.
Fill up the corn container using the measuring cup. Use a maximum amount of one measuring cup each time.
Place the measuring cup on the lower part of the lid in the place designed for this purpose.
Place a bowl underneath the popcorn shoot.
Turn the appliance on using the on/off switch.
After 2 or 3 minutes, depending on the amount added, the popcorn will be ready.
If after 3 minutes, there is corn left in the popcorn maker, turn off the appliance, unplug and remove corn that is left.
Take caution with the popcorn maker body and lid, as they have hot surfaces.
NEVER USE SALT, SUGAR, BUTTER OR OIL in the product. Always add after popcorn is ready for eating.

Once you have finished using the appliance:

Turn the appliance off, using the on/off switch.
Unplug the appliance from the mains.
Let the appliance cool down.
Clean the appliance.

CLEANING

Disconnect the appliance from the mains and allow it to cool before undertaking any cleaning task.
Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a few drops of washing-up liquid and then dry.
Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or base pH such as bleach, or abrasive products, for cleaning the appliance.
- Never submerge the appliance in water or any other liquid or place it under running water.
