How to set the time on the Lenco KCR-190 radio?

The time sets automatically when receiving DAB or FM signals. For manual adjustment, press and hold MENU, select System then Time, and follow the on-screen instructions using the SELECT +/– and ENTER buttons.

How to set an alarm?

Press ALARM to select alarm 1 or 2. Use SELECT +/– to set the time, duration, source (Buzzer, DAB or FM), repetition (daily, once, weekends, weekdays) and volume. Confirm each step with ENTER. The alarm icon appears when it is active.

How to use the Bluetooth function?

Press SOURCE repeatedly until Bluetooth mode is selected. Enable Bluetooth on your device and search for Lenco KCR-190 in the list. Pair the two devices. The screen displays 'Bluetooth connected'. Use the PLAY/PAUSE and SELECT +/– buttons to control playback.

How to store a DAB or FM station as a preset?

Tune to the desired station, then press and hold PRESET until 'Preset Store' appears. Use SELECT +/– to choose a number from 1 to 30 and press ENTER to confirm. You have 30 presets for DAB and 30 for FM.

How to clean the device?

Use a soft dry cloth to dust. For stubborn stains, use a damp cloth with a mild detergent solution. Never use solvent or petroleum-based liquids. Avoid water entering the device.

What to do if the device does not turn on?

First check that the mains adapter is properly connected to the DC input socket and the wall socket. If the device remains off, try another power outlet. If the problem persists, contact a qualified repair service. Never open the device yourself.

How to stop the alarm after it goes off?

Press SNOOZE for an 8-minute repeat, or press POWER to cancel the alarm completely. The alarm will automatically reactivate the next day if set to 'Daily'.

How to enter standby mode?

Press the POWER button to put the device into standby. You can also use the SLEEP function (auto off) by holding MENU, then selecting System > Sleep to choose a duration from 15 to 120 minutes.

How to update the time automatically?

By default, the time updates automatically via DAB or FM signals (option Update from Any). To change this setting, go to Menu > System > Auto update and choose between Update from DAB, Update from FM or No update.

KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS IN MIND:

1. Do not cover or block any ventilation openings. When placing the device on a shelf, leave 5 cm (2") free space around the whole device.
2. Install in accordance with the supplied user manual.
3. Keep the device away from heat sources such as radiators, heaters, stoves, candles and other heat-generating products or naked flame. The device can only be used in moderate climates. Extremely cold or warm environments should be avoided. Working temperature between 0^ and 35^ C.
4. Avoid using the device near strong magnetic fields.
5. Electrostatic discharge can disturb normal usage of this device. If so, simply reset and restart the device following the instruction manual. During file transmission, please handle with care and operate in a static-free environment.
6. Warning! Never insert an object into the product through the vents or openings. High voltage flows through the product and inserting an object can cause electric shock and/or short circuit internal parts. For the same reason, do not spill water or liquid on the product.
7. Do not use in wet or moist areas such as bathrooms, steamy kitchens or near swimming pools.
8. The device shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and make sure that no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, are placed on or near the apparatus.
9. Do not use this device when condensation may occur. When the unit is used in a warm wet room with damp, water droplets or condensation may occur inside the unit and the unit may not function properly; let the unit stand in power OFF for 1 or 2 hours before turning on the power: the unit should be dry before getting any power.
10. Although this device is manufactured with the utmost care and checked several times before leaving the factory, it is still possible that problems may occur, as with all electrical appliances. MOUNTING THE SET UNDER A CABINET

Decide the location for the device installation.

Use the drill hole paper template to drill the indicating holes.

Screw on and tightened the plastic plate to the cabinet/shelf correctly.

Install the device in the plastic plate and make sure it's locked securely.

*Make sure that the cabinet/shelf that is used, is strong enough for the weight of the unit.
*To reduce the risk of fire, do not place the radio on any heating area or without the spacing.
* You can slide out the unit from the plastic plate and to be used as a standing kitchen radio

POWER SUPPLY

Connect the power cord of the adapter to the DC input jack on the radio.

Connect the adapter to the household power outlet.

The date and time of the unit will automatically be set when the radio transmission signals are received (when this information is available).

Press "ALARM" button to select alarm 1 or 2.

Press "SELECT +/-" button to select the desired information.

Press "ENTER" button to save the selection.

When the alarm setting is active, the corresponding Alarm 1 and Alarm 2 icon will be displayed. After the set time has expired the device will sound an alarm.

The volume will gradually increase until the set volume level is reached. The corresponding alarm icon will also flash on the display.

TIMER

Press "TIMER" once or twice to select Timer 1or 2 on device.

Press "SELECT +/-" button to select shut of time

Timer 1: Off, 1, 2, 3..... to 239 minutes.

Timer 2: Off, 5, 10, 15..... to 240 minutes.

When the timer count down is finished, the alarm buzzer will be turned on.

Press "TIMER" button to stop the buzzer.

SNOOZE

Press "SNOOZE" button to temporarily stop an audible alarm.

The device will return to standby mode during the snooze period.

The alarm will sound again when the period of snooze (8mins) is completed.

Press "POWER" button to cancel alarm.

Press "INFO" button to select the instruction.

● Full auto search will be started at the first time or the radio station list is empty.

● Manual search for radio stations

Hold “SCAN” button to do full scan and some stations are automatically stored with suitable signal strength.

After the search is completed, the first stored station is broadcast automatically.

Press or Hold "SELECT +/-" button to search for automatic frequency of the nearest station

RDS INFORMATION

Radio Data System (RDS) allows DAB stations to transmit additional information.

When you tune to an FM radio station that transmits RDS signals, the station name is displayed.

Press "INFO" button to get the following RDS information (if available):

- Radio text

● Program type (such as NEWS, SPORT, POP M)
- Name Mono
- Time
- Date

PRESET STATION

DRC (DYNAMIC RANGE CONTROL)

DRC On or Off enables a degree of compression for the differences in the dynamic range between radio stations.

Pres "SELECT +/-" button to select the DRC setting.

Press "ENTER" button to confirm the selection.

● DRC off: No compression applied.

● DRC low: Medium compression applied.
● DRC high: Maximum compression applied.

PRUNE

Press "SELECT +/-" button to select "No" or "Yes".

Press "ENTER" button to confirm the selection.

No: Return to the previous menu.

Yes: Remove invalid stations form the station list.

SYSTEM

Press "SELECT +/-" button to select different setting.

SLEEP

This function will activate the automatic shut-off mode.

Turn on the Bluetooth function of your Bluetooth device and enable the search "Lenco KCR-190" from the device list.

Pair the unit with your device

Once connection success, the display will show Bluetooth Connected

Hold "PAIR" button to cancel the collection

DURING THE BLUETOOTH PLAYBACK

Press "PLAY/PAUSE" button to Play or Pause the track

Press "SELECT+/-" button to select the next or previous track

AUX

Press "SOURCE" button to AUX mode.

Use a 3.5 mm jack AUX IN cable (not included) to connect the AUX IN jack and external audio player.

Control the music or Volume adjustment by the device and external audio player.

ENERGY SAVING

For Energy saving, system will return to the standby mode automatically if unit have stopped operating in Bluetooth and Aux mode for 15 minutes.

Press "POWER" button to reactive the device.
