USER MANUAL S3_WL503DC Vonroc
Read the enclosed safety warnings, the additional safety warnings and the instructions. Failure to follow the safety warnings and the instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury. Save the safety warnings and the instructions for future reference. The following symbols are used in the user manual or on the product: Read the user manual. Denotes risk of personal injury, loss of life or damage to the tool in case of non-obser- vance of the instructions in this manual. Risk of electric shock. Protection class III. Indoor use only. Time-lag miniature fuse-link. Class II machine - Double insulation – You don’t need any earthed plug. Max temperature 45°C. Do not throw the battery into fire. Do not throw the battery into water. Do not cover the lens while operating the work light. This may cause the work light to overheat. Do not use in rain. Separate collection for Li-ion battery. Do not dispose of the product in unsuitable containers. The product is in accordance with the applicable safety standards in the European directives.
Please read and observe all safety warnings and instructions enclosed with the battery or the power tool with which the battery was provided. b) Do not work with the rechargeable work light in hazardous areas.
After the automatic shut-off of the rechargeable work light, do not continue to press the On/Off button. The work light should be recharged first. d) Do not direct the light beam at persons or animals and do not stare into the light beam yourself (not even from adistance). e) Do not cover off the lens while operating the rechargeable work light. The work light heats up during operation and can cause burns when the heat is allowed to accumulate. f) Do not use the rechargeable work light in road traffic. The rechargeable work light is not ap- proved for illumination in road traffic. g) Do not allow children to use the rechargeable work light. It is intended for professional use. Children can unintentionally blind themselves or other persons.
SAFETY WARNINGS FOR BATTERY
a) Do not open the battery. Danger of short-circu- iting. b) Protect the battery against heat, e. g., against continuous intense sunlight, fire, water, and moisture. Danger of explosion. c) In case of damage and improper use of the bat- tery, vapours may be emitted. Ventilate the area and seek medical help in case of complaints. The vapours can irritate the respiratory system. d) Use the battery only in conjunction with your Vonroc product. This measure alone protects the battery against dangerous overload.
The battery can be damaged by pointed objects such as nails or screwdrivers or by force applied externally. An internal short circuit can occur and the battery can burn, smoke, explode or overheat.

Intended use The work light is intended as mobile illumination for temporary use in dry indoor areas. It is not suitable for permanent room lighting. 10. Battery release button
Before any work on the power tool, remove the battery. The battery must be charged before first use. Inserting the battery into the machine (Fig. D) Ensure that the exterior of the battery is clean and dry before connecting to the charger or machine.

- To check the battery charge status, push the button (11) on the battery shortly.
- The battery has 3 LED lights indicating the charge level.
- When none of the indicators light up the battery is empty and must be charged immediately. Charging the battery with the charger (Fig. E)
1. Remove the battery (8) from the machine.
2. Turn the battery (8) to upside down position and
slide it onto the charger (9) as shown in Fig. E.

4. Plug the charger into an electrical outlet. After
a short while the LED indicators on the charger (13) will light up to show the charger status. - Fully charging a 2Ah battery may take up to 60 minutes.
- Fully charging a 4Ah battery may take up to 120 minutes. After the battery is fully charged remove the charger plug from the outlet and remove the battery from the charger. When the machine is not being used over a longer period of time it is best to store the battery in charged condition.
- To turn on the work light, select the desired op- erating mode (I / II) using the On/Off switch (7).
- To switch the work light off, select ‘0’ using the On/Off switch (7). Hanging hook (Fig. A) The lamp base (5) is equipped with a hanging hook (6). The hanging hook may be used to hang the lamp upside down to light your work area from above. When not in use, the hanging hook (6) should be fold- ed back into its initial position on the lamp base (5).
Before cleaning and maintenance, always switch off the machine and remove the battery pack from the machine. Replace the light in case the glass covers become damaged. Damaged lights can not be repaired and must be disposed of. The LED light source in this lamp is not replaceable. When the LED light source has reached the end of its life the light must be disposed of. Cleaning Clean the machine exterior regularly with a soft cloth, preferably after each use. Remove very persis- tent dirt using a soft cloth moistened with soapsuds. Do not use any solvents such as gasoline, alcohol, ammonia, etc. Chemicals such as these will damage the synthetic components of the work light. ENVIRONMENT Faulty and/or discarded electrical or electronic apparatus have to be collected at the appropriate recycling locations. Only for EC countries Do not dispose of power tools into domestic waste. According to the European Guideline 2012/19/EU for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment and its implementation into national right, power tools that are no longer usable must be collected separately and disposed of in an environmentally friendly way. WARRANTY VONROC products are developed to the highest quality standards and are guaranteed free of defects in both materials and workmanship for the period lawfully stipulated starting from the date of original purchase. Should the product develop any failure during this period due to defective material and/or workmanship then contact VONROC directly. The following circumstances are excluded from this guarantee:
- Repairs and or alterations have been made or attempted to the machine by unauthorized service centers;
- Normal wear and tear;
- The tool has been abused, misused or improperly maintained;
- Non-original spare parts have been used. This constitutes the sole warranty made by compa- ny either expressed or implied. There are no other warranties expressed or implied which extend beyond the face hereof, herein, including the im- plied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall VONROC be liable for any incidental or consequential damages. The dealers remedies shall be limited to repair or replacement of nonconforming units or parts.
