F IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1 This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been supervised/instructed and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and cable out of reach of children under 8 years. 2 Do not use attachments other than those we supply. 3 This appliance is battery operated only. 4 This product uses alkaline batteries. At the end of their life the batteries must be removed from the appliance and be recycled or disposed of properly in accordance with your state and local requirements. 5 Do not put in re or mutilate your batteries when disposing as they may burst and release toxic materials. 6 Do not short circuit as it may cause burns. 7 Do not use the appliance if it is damaged or malfunctions. 8 Do not use this product if it is not working correctly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or dropped in water. 9 Store the product at a temperature between 15°C and 35°C. 10 Turn the product o before cleaning or when using under running water. 11 Warning: Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water. 12 Do not immerse the appliance in liquid; do not use it near water in a bath-tub, basin or other vessel; and don’t use it outdoors. 13 For household use only. • Make sure the product is turned o.

• Slide o the battery compartment cover then pull o.

• Insert 2 “AA” alkaline batteries, so that the (+) and (-) marks on the battery face the same mark in the battery compartment.

• Replace the battery compartment cover. , Note: Remove batteries if the unit is not in use for long periods.

F INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

, Attaching and removing the comb

• The adjustable guide comb gives 5 dierent trim lengths.

• To fasten the guide comb, snap on to the back of the detail trimmer head.

• If you are trimming for the rst time start with the maximum trimming length setting. , Before you begin 1 Comb facial hair with a ne comb before you start trimming. 2 Hairs should be dry and without any waxes or lotions before using the groomer. , To thin and taper beards or moustaches 3 Attach the trimmer blade. 4 Place the hair length attachment on the trimmer blade, select the desired length and switch on. 5 Start trimming under the chin, following the jawbone line. 6 Work towards the ear and upper beard line using an upward motion. , To trim edge of beard or moustache 7 Attach the trimmer blade. 8 Hold groomer with cutting blade facing you. 9 Start with edge of beard/moustache line, and with the cutting blades resting lightly against your skin, use slow movements to create a beard/ moustache line. , To trim sideburns 10 Attach the trimmer blade. ENGLISH5 11 Use a small comb to lift the hairs. Hold the comb at the desired beard or moustache length. 12 Move the groomer along the comb to cut the hairs. Use light pressure and well-controlled movements to trim hair. , Trimming the nape of your neck 13 Attach the trimmer blade. 14 Use your ngers to lift the hair at the base of your head up o the neck. Your index nger should be covering the roots of the hairs you are lifting to prevent accidental removal by groomer. 15 Using your other hand, hold the groomer to the base of your neck with the cutting unit facing up, and move the groomer up the length of the neck until the unit touches your nger covering the hair roots at the base of your head. Move the unit slowly when performing this operation and to keep the hair roots at the base of your head out of the way of the groomer. , To remove hair from nose and ear 16 Attach nose, ear and eyebrow attachment. 17 Insert the groomer’s cutting unit gently into the nostril or ear. 18 Gently move the groomer in and out of the nostril or ear and at the same time rotate the groomer. 19 Avoid inserting the cutting unit more than 6mm into your nostril or ear. , To remove hair from eyebrows 20 Attach nose, ear and eyebrow attachment. 21 Gently guide the cutting unit to stray, unwanted hairs along the eyebrow line or protruding from the eyebrow itself. 22 To remove the hairs completely, lower onto the skin and move over desired area. 23 Use slow and well-controlled movements. , Using your miniscreen shaver 24 Hold the groomer so the miniscreen gently touches your face. 25 Use short, well-controlled movements to shave around your beard/ moustache. Use your free hand to stretch your skin. This encourages the hair to stand upright, making it easier to shave. , Note: The miniscreen shaver was designed to shave the detail areas around your beard/moustache/sideburns. ENGLISH6 E Tips for best results

• Comb your hair in the direction that it grows so that the hairs are at their maximum height and facing in the same direction.

• After trimming, lightly go over the trimmed areas with the foil to get a smooth clean nish.

• Since all hairs do not grow in the same direction, you may want to try dierent trimming positions (i.e. upwards, downwards or across) for better results.

C CARE FOR YOUR GROOMER

• Care for your product to ensure a long lasting performance. We recommend that you clean your groomer after each use.

• The easiest and the most hygienic way to clean the groomer is by rinsing the product head after use with warm water. Always keep the protective cap on the shaving head and keep the trimmer in the “o” position when the shaver is not in use. , After each use

• Rinse the accumulated hair from the cutters and shake o excess water. Alternatively, use a brush.

• Gently tap on a at surface to remove hair particles and brush the remaining hairs away.

• Place one or two drops of cutter oil or sewing machine oil on the blades.

• Turn the clipper on to distribute the oil evenly, wipe o any excess oil.

• Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth and dry immediately. , Note: Ensure that the groomer is turned o when applying the oil or rinsing under the tap.
