Operation - Machine Vice

ENGLISH cast iron and plastic materials. You must not cut wood with the band saw. The shape of the material being cut must be such that it may be safely clamped in the machine vice and that it prevents the material being cut from springing out. Do not use this product in any other way as stated for normal use. Not observing general regulations in force and instructions from this manual does not make the manufacturer liable for damages. Operation is only allowed with a safety switch against stray current (RCD max. stray current of 30mA). Qualica tion : Apart from the detailed instructions by aprofessional, no special qualication is necessary forappliance using. Keep your hands and ngers in a safe distance from the running saw band at all times. The saw band must not be braked by hand. Safety equipment and guards, etc. must not be removed. Never remove the cuts by hand. Use a brush at all times. Never leave the device when in operation. Putting into operation for your safety Before carrying out any work on the machine, disconnect the plug from the socket. The minimum safety distance of 10m must be respected. Saw band Unplug the device before any adjustment and servicing! Saw band stretching: Stretch the saw band using the stretching bolt (pic. 15). The saw band is stretched correctly when it can be pressed by 2-3 mm. Guide adjustment: The saw band guide must be adjusted as, otherwise, it could get ipped over, which would result in an unclean cut.Loosen the bolt (pic. 15/1) and adjust the guide depending on the width of the material to be processed. Changing the saw band: Loosen the saw band. Loosen the bolt and remove the cover. Now t in a new saw band on the rollers and place it between the guide bearing and the band guide. Then, stretch the saw band again and close the covers safely and rmly. Operating the device Angle adjustment: Adjust the angle to the material to be processed at all times. To shift the entire work block, loosen the bolt (pic. 13/1). Using both stops, precise adjustment of 0° +45 is possible (pic. 13/2a). Cutting speed: The cutting speed always depends on the material being cut. Speed can be changed by turning the knob (pic. 16). Maintenance Before carrying out any work on the machine, disconnect the plug from the socket. The machine must not be used under any circum- stances if the machine or the safety devices are damaged. If the devic e is defective, the repair has to be made exclusively by the customer service.Use only original accessories and original spare parts. Only a regularly maintained and treated appliance can serve as a satisfactory aid. Insucient mainte

nance and care can lead to unforeseen accidents and injuries.
