How to change the saw blade?
Before any work, unplug the device. Turn the ring (a) at the saw blade holder (6) until the blade can slide into the slot. Release the ring: it must return to its original position. Check the attachment by pulling on the blade.
How to adjust the saw shoe?
Unplug the device. Press the shoe fixation button (7) on the right side (viewed from below) to unlock. Set the desired gap, then press the same button on the left side to lock. Ensure the shoe is securely fixed.
Which blades come with the saw?
The delivery includes one blade for wood and one blade for metal. Additional blades can be purchased separately.
What is the maximum cutting depth?
In wood: 150 mm. In metal: 10 mm. Respect these limits to avoid damaging the tool.
How to turn the saw on and off?
To turn on, press the On/Off switch (1). To turn off, release it. The lock button (2) allows locking the switch in the On position for continuous operation.

3. Proper use

The multi-saw is designed for sawing wood, iron, non-ferrous metals and plastic. It should only be used with the appropriate saw blade.

The equipment is to be used only for its prescribed purpose. Any other use is deemed to be a case of misuse. The user / operator and not the manufacturer will be liable for any damage or injuries of any kind caused as a result of this.

Please note that our equipment has not been designed for use in commercial, trade or industrial applications. Our warranty will be voided if the machine is used in commercial, trade or industrial businesses or for equivalent purposes.

5. Before starting the equipment

Before you connect the equipment to the mains supply make sure that the data on the rating plate are identical to the mains data.

Always pull the power plug before making adjustments to the equipment.

5.1 Changing the saw blade (Fig. 2)

Always switch off and unplug the multi-saw before working on the machine or changing the saw blade.

Turn the ring (a) on the blade holder (6) as shown in Fig. 2 until the blade (b) lets itself be slipped into the slot of the blade holder (6).

When you now let go of the ring (a) again, the ring (a) should return to its starting position.

If this fails to happen, try turning the ring (a) by hand into its starting position.

Pull on the blade to check whether it slts tightly in the holder.

5.2 Adjusting the soleplate (Fig. 3)

Important.

Pull out the power plug.

To adjust the soleplate, press the soleplate locking button (7) on the right-hand side (looking from the bottom) in order to unlock the soleplate (5). Set the required distance and press the soleplate locking button (7) on the left-hand side (looking from the bottom) in order to lock the soleplate again. Check that the soleplate is secure.

6. Operation

6.1 ON/OFF switch (Fig. 1/Item 1)

To switch on:

Release the ON/OFF switch

6.2 Locking button (Fig. 1/Item 2)

You can lock the ON/OFF switch (1) using the locking button (2) when the equipment is in operation. To switch off the equipment briefly hold down the ON/OFF switch (1).

6.3 Electronic stroke rate control

Use the wheel selector (8) to set the required blade speed.

The general rules for cutting speeds for cutting work apply.

6.4 Use as a jigsaw (Fig. 4)

Place the multi-saw on the material to be cut as shown in Fig. 4. Switch on the multi-saw and push it along against the material to be cut. Adapt your cutting speed to the material.

7. Replacing the power cable

If the power cable for this equipment is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its after-sales service or similarly trained personnel to avoid danger.

8. Cleaning, maintenance and ordering of spare parts

Always pull out the mains power plug before starting any cleaning work.

8.1 Cleaning

  • Keep all safety devices, air vents and the motor housing free of dirt and dust as far as possible. Wipe the equipment with a clean cloth or blow it with compressed air at low pressure.
    • We recommend that you clean the device immediately each time you have finished using it.
    • Clean the equipment regularly with a moist cloth and some soft soap. Do not use

cleaning agents or solvents; these could attack the plastic parts of the equipment. Ensure that no water can seep into the device.

8.2 Carbon brushes

In case of excessive sparking, have the carbon brushes checked only by a qualified electrician. Important! The carbon brushes should not be replaced by anyone but a qualified electrician.

8.3 Maintenance

There are no parts inside the equipment which require additional maintenance.

9. Disposal and recycling

The unit is supplied in packaging to prevent its being damaged in transit. This packaging is raw material and can therefore be reused or can be returned to the raw material system.

The unit and its accessories are made of various types of material, such as metal and plastic. Defective components must be disposed of as special waste. Ask your dealer or your local council.

10. Storage

Store the equipment and accessories out of children's reach in a dark and dry place at above freezing temperature. The ideal storage temperature is between 5 and 30^ . Store the electric tool in its original packaging.

Please note the following terms under which guarantee claims can be made:
