Frequently Asked Questions - H955W PureGuardian

Why isn't my humidifier emitting mist even though air is circulating?
Several possible causes: too much water in the tank (remove some water), the mist tube is not properly closed, detergent or oil residue in the tank (wash it), or the ultrasonic disk is dirty (clean it with the provided brush). If you use hard water, switch to soft or distilled water.
How to clean the ultrasonic disk?
Unplug the device and empty all water from the base. Use only the provided cleaning brush to gently clean the disk. Do not scrub or scrape the disk. If scale persists, apply a solution of white vinegar and water (1:1) for 5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
What does the E1 code on the display mean?
The E1 code indicates that the water level is too low. Fill the tank with fresh water. The power indicator flashes red. The device will automatically restart after filling.
What does the E2 code on the display mean?
The E2 code indicates that the water tank is not properly positioned on the base. Remove the tank and realign it by matching the small lines on the side of the tank and base. The power indicator turns solid red.
Can I use essential oils in this humidifier?
Yes, you can add a few drops of essential oil directly into the water tank, as the tank material allows it. Do not pour oil elsewhere. If you do not smell the aroma, add a few more drops.
How to set the desired humidity?
Press and hold the humidity adjustment button to select a level between 40% and 75% RH. The recommended humidity is between 45 and 50%. When the ambient humidity reaches the set level, the device switches to low speed.
What to do if white dust settles on furniture?
White dust is due to minerals in hard water. Use distilled water to reduce this phenomenon. Regularly clean the device and the ultrasonic disk.
How to use the timer function?
Press the Timer button to set a programmed shut-off duration from 1 to 12 hours. The display shows 'CO'; press the button several times to select the desired time. The device will automatically stop at the end of the timer.
Can I leave the humidifier running all night?
Yes, you can use the timer to program a shut-off after a few hours. Make sure the tank contains enough water for the desired duration. The device has an automatic shut-off in case of water shortage.
How to store the humidifier at the end of the season?
Clean and descale the device. Let it dry completely in the air. Do not leave water in the base or tank. Put the device back in its original packaging and store it in a cool, dry place.
