How to clean the Livoo DOM476 heater?

Unplug the appliance and let it cool. Use a dry cloth to remove dust. You can also vacuum the air intake grilles with a vacuum cleaner. Never use abrasive or chemical products.

What to do if the device suddenly shuts off (overheating)?

The heater is equipped with an overheat protection device. Unplug the power cord, wait about 10 minutes, eliminate the cause (grille obstruction, etc.), then plug back in. The appliance will reset automatically.

Can I use the heater in a bathroom?

No. The appliance must not be used near a bathtub, shower, or swimming pool. It is intended for domestic use in well-insulated rooms.

What safety distance should I maintain?

Maintain a minimum distance of 50 cm above the appliance and 200 cm in front. Curtains, textiles and other flammable materials must be at least 1 meter from the air outlet.

How to set the thermostat for a comfortable temperature?

Turn the thermostat knob fully to the '+' (maximum). When the room reaches the desired temperature, slowly turn the thermostat to the '-' until the appliance turns off. It will turn back on automatically to maintain the temperature.

Can I use an extension cord?

No, it is not recommended to use an extension cord. Plug the appliance directly into a wall outlet. To avoid overload, do not operate other appliances on the same outlet.

What are the different operating modes?

The On/Off button allows selection: fan only (cold air), low heat (I) and high heat (II). The indicator light shows operation.

How to store the appliance after use?

The working light indicator will be turn OFF when the device will start heating the environment. If the selected temperature is bellow the ambient temperature, the device will not start to heat and the working light will be turned ON.

Then, turn the thermostat knob.

To find out the ideal thermostat setting, first set the dial to the maximum setting (+). As soon as the temperature is conformable, slowly turn the thermostat down to the minimum setting (-), until the heater turns off.ô

NOTE: To avoid power circuit overload situation, it is recommended that no other appliances are operating at the same time from the power outlet it is plugged into.

Êverheat protection

The heater is fitted with a safety device which will switch off the heater in case of accidental overheating (example: obstruction of air intake and outlet grilles, motor turning slowly or not at all). To reset, disconnect the plug from the power for approximately 10 minutes, remove the cause of overheating then plug the appliance in again.

Before cleaning always turn off the appliance, unplug it and let the appliance cool down. To remove dust from the appliance use dry cloth or vacuum cleaner.
