Turn off the camera before attaching or removing the lens.

① The lens extends automatically.

- Camera off (1)

- Camera on (2)

② Rotate the zoom ring (A) in direction ① to zoom in or in direction ② to zoom out. Select from two speeds: zoom speed is determined by the angle of rotation.

The lens can be used with an optional LC-37C auto lens cap. The lens cap can not be used when a filter is attached.

Note: Do not attempt to forcibly prevent the lens from extending or retracting or otherwise apply excessive force to the lens while moving parts are in operation.

Notes on Shooting

- Edges of pictures may be cut off if more than one filter is used or if a thick filter is used.

- The lens may cast shadows in pictures taken with a flash.
