How to clean the Olympus 25mm F1.8 lens?

Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the lenses. Avoid harsh solvents. Use a blower to remove dust before wiping.

Can I use filters with this lens?

Yes, the filter diameter is 46 mm. Be careful not to stack multiple thick filters, as this may cut off the edges of the image.

How does the AF/MF switch work?

The focus ring allows switching to manual mode (MF) after autofocus (AF). In AF mode, turn the ring to switch to MF without changing the setting.

What is the minimum focus distance?

The minimum distance is 0.25 m (from the sensor). This allows close-up photography.

How to mount the LH-49B lens hood?

Align the mark on the hood with the mounting mark on the lens, then turn clockwise until it clicks. For storage, reverse the hood and turn.

Can I use this lens with an adapter on another camera body?

This lens is designed for the Micro Four Thirds mount. With an adapter, it can be used on other bodies, but some functions (such as autofocus) may be limited.

What to do if the lens does not attach correctly?

Check that the mounting index is aligned and the lens is turned the right way. Do not force. Clean the electrical contacts with a dry cloth.

How to store the lens when not in use?

Always put the front and rear caps to protect the lenses. Store the lens in a dry and dust-free place, ideally in a sealed bag.

Why are the edges of the image dark or cut off?

This can happen if you use multiple stacked filters or a filter that is too thick. The lens hood may also cause vignetting if not suitable. Remove unnecessary accessories.

Is this lens compatible with external flashes?

Yes, but the built-in flash of the camera body may be partially blocked by the lens or hood. Use an external flash to avoid shadows.
