How to pair the button with the chime?

Plug the chime into a 230 V socket. Press and hold (5 s) the chime's pairing button until the LED lights up. Release, then press the doorbell button within 25 seconds. The chime will ring to confirm pairing.

What is the range of the doorbell?

The range can reach 180 m outdoors in open air. In built-up areas (walls, obstacles), it may decrease to about 20% of this value, i.e., approximately 36 m.

What to do if the chime does not ring after pressing the button?

Check that the button is correctly paired (see pairing). Ensure the chime is plugged in and the button's LED flashes when pressed. Avoid installing the button on a metal surface, as this may block the signal.

Can I use multiple buttons with one chime?

Yes, you can pair multiple buttons. Repeat the pairing procedure for each button. The chime memorizes all codes.

How to clear the memory of paired buttons?

Press and hold the chime's pairing button while plugging it into the socket. Wait 5 seconds for the LED to light up, then release. The memory will be cleared and all buttons must be re-paired.

Is the button waterproof?

Yes, the button has a protection rating of IP44, making it resistant to splashes and rain. For better durability, preferably install it in a sheltered location.

Can I install the button on a metal surface?

No, avoid installing the button on metallic objects or materials containing metal (window frames, etc.), as this may interfere with radio transmission and reduce range.

How to clean the chime?

First unplug the chime from the electrical outlet. Use a damp soft cloth with a little mild soap. Do not use harsh products or solvents.

What happens in case of a power outage?

The chime is equipped with an internal memory that saves the codes of paired buttons. After power is restored, the pairing is retained and you do not need to repeat the procedure.

Pairing the Button with the Chime

1. Plug the chime unit into a 230 V AC/50 Hz socket.
2. Then, long-press the pairing button on the chime for ca. 5 seconds.
3. The chime LED will light up; release the button.

The chime will switch to self-learning pairing mode which lasts for 25 seconds.

During this time, press the ring button. The chime will ring and the button is now paired with the chime.

This automatically ends self-learning mode.

1. To pair multiple buttons, repeat the process for each button from step 1. Note: The chime has an internal memory where it stores the codes of the currently paired buttons for the event of a power failure. There is thus no need to pair buttons again after a power cut.

Wiping the Memory of Paired Buttons

Press and hold the pairing button on the chime.

Plug the chime into a socket.

The LED of the chime will light up after ca. 5 seconds. Release the 📄 button. The LED will turn off.

The memory of all paired buttons will be erased.

Installation of the Doorbell (Transmitter) Button

1. Begin by pairing the button with the chime.
2. Before installation, check that the pair works reliably in the chosen spot.
3. Remove the rear cover by inserting a screwdriver into the hole on the side of the button.
4. Use the double-sided adhesive tape (included) or two screws to fix the rear portion of the cover to the wall. Although the button is weather resistant, choose a location where it is protected, e.g. in a wall recess.
5. Re-assemble the button.
6. Press the button to ring the chime. Pressing is accompanied by LED illumination indicating the button has sent a radio signal. The chime plays the selected ringtone.

Note: The doorbell button (transmitter) can be placed on wood or brick walls without issue. However, never place the button directly onto metal objects or materials containing metal, such as plastic windows or doors that have a metal frame. In such cases, the transmitter will not work properly.

Upkeep and Maintenance

The wireless digital doorbell is a sensitive electronic device. Therefore, it is necessary to observe the following precautions:

- The chime (receiver) is designed for indoor use in dry environments only.

- The chime must be located in an easily accessible location for ease of handling and unplugging.

• Periodically check the functioning of the doorbell button.

- Do not subject the button or chime to excessive vibrations and shocks.

- Do not subject the button or chime to excessive heat and direct sunlight or moisture.

- When cleaning the chime, unplug it from the socket.

- To clean the device, use a slightly moistened cloth with a small amount of detergent; do not use aggressive cleaning agents or solvents.

- This device is not intended for use by persons (including children) whose physical, sensory or mental disability or lack of experience and expertise prevents safe use, unless they are supervised or instructed in the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. It is necessary to supervise children to ensure they do not play with the device.
