Do not twist, bend, strain, or damage the power cord in any way. Protect it from sharp edges and heat sources. Do not let it touch hot surfaces. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the working surface or countertop. Do not immerse the cord, plug, or any non-removable part of the appliance in water or any other liquid, nor expose the electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance. Do not use the device with perfume, vinegar or other liquids. It is designed to operate only with water. Avoid contact with the steam generated by the iron. Steam temperature is very high and can cause burns and other damage. Do not exceed the MAX mark on the water tank when lling the appliance with water. Do not use outdoors, close to baths, showers, swimming pools or in bathrooms. Do not leave the appliance unattended while hot or connected. Do not allow the cord to come into contact with hot surfaces. Never operate the appliance while clothes are on the body or direct steam towards people. Unplug the appliance before attaching any of its accessories, lling water, cleaning or descaling. The appliance is not intended to be used by children under the age of 8. It can be used by children over the age of 8, as long as they are given continuous supervision. Supervise children, they shall not play with the appliance. Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is being used by or near children. Cleaning and maintenance tasks must not be carried out by children.

Warning: All our ironing range’s products have undergone

quality control tests previous to their commercialisation. These tests consist of lling the water tank in order to check tightness and to ensure correct operating of the device. Once the test has been carried out, the tank is emptied and dried, but there is a slight probability that water could remain inside it.9

Take the product out of the box. Make sure all the accessories are included and check for any visible damage. If any is observed, contact the Technical Support Service of Cecotec. Remove any sticker or protective element from the steamer head. Unwind and straighten the cord.

Warning: When operating the garment steamer for the rst time, allow it to steam for a few

minutes to remove any impurities and odours that might have been left from the manufacturing process.

Remove the water tank, open the water lling opening lid and pour water up to the MAX mark. Replace the water tank. If tap water contains too much scale, it is recommended to use 50 % of tap water with 50 % of natural water. Introduce the clothes brush into the steam head and press until a click sounds, indicating that it is properly xed. It can be attached either way. Connect the appliance to a power outlet and press for 2 seconds the On/Off touch button in order to switch it on. The indicator light will ash for a few seconds, once it turns steady, the product is ready to be used. Note: Once the water tank is full and the appliance is connected to the power supply, allow it to preheat for a few seconds.

The garment steamer is easy to use and is perfect for removing creases from garments and curtains. Note: The garment steamer is designed to be used in an upright position on hanging garments. Make sure there is ventilation behind the garment. Press the steam push button to activate the desired steam ironing function. Press the ECO push button to steam delicate clothes. Gently press the clothes brush against the garment to be steamed and move it up and down, especially focusing on creases. When using the garment steamer without the clothes brush, keep a distance of at least 5 cm between the steam head and the garment. Release the steam push button to stop the steaming function. Slide downward the steam push button lock in order to produce constant steam without having to press the push button. Note: It is suggested to use the clothes brush attachment when steaming delicate fabrics such as silk.

Warning: The garment steamer generates steam at very high temperatures. Do not touch the

steam exit and make sure to hold the product in an upright position and facing outward. Steaming curtains Once the curtain has been properly washed and dried, follow the below indications: Hang it in its correct position. Steam it in an upright position. Lightly stretch the curtain with one hand while steaming to help remove creases more easily. Steaming upholstery The product can also be operated on upholstery, slipcovers, cushions etc. Keep the appliance in an upright position. Steam up and down, focusing on creases. After every use Press the power touch button for 2 seconds approx. and unplug the power cord from the power supply. Allow the iron to cool down completely. Empty the remaining water in the water tank. Be careful not to burn yourself! Stand the garment steamer on its base in an upright position and allow to cool. Tips It is suggested to iron or steam clothes on its inner side. Trousers may be ironed or steamed holding them by the ends.27 ENGLISH

The garment steamer does not eliminate stains. Do not steam clothes while worn. The garment steamer can be used almost on any type of fabric: Silk, jeans, cotton, polyester, wool, etc. Always check if the garment to be steamed has a label with instructions for ironing, and if it has, follow the instructions. Auto-off For safety reasons, the garment steamer turns automatically off after 8 minutes. The light indicator will start ashing.

5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Disconnect the device from the power supply and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning. Remove the clothes brush from the steamer head and clean using a damp cloth. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents or solvents. Do not put the garment steamer in water or any other liquid. Always empty the water tank after each use and rinse with clean water. Clean the housing with a damp cloth. Always ensure the steam outlet hole is clean, free from scaling and not blocked. Use a toothpick to unclog it. Once the garment steamer is disconnected from the power outlet, cooled down, water is emptied and the device is clean, it is recommended to wrap the cord safely around the steamer to store in an upright position. Cleaning water mineral deposits To prevent minerals from building up or reduce them, follow the below recommendations: Carry out this process once every month if not using natural water. Make sure the appliance is unplugged and cooled down. Mix 50 % of descaling product and 50 % low-mineral or natural water. Remove the water lling opening cover and pour the mixture into the water tank. Replace the cover. Allow it to take effect for 40 minutes and then empty the tank. Wipe down the housing with a damp cloth. Fill the tank with clean water, rinse and empty. Repeat this step until any odour disappears. Assemble the unit back and use it normally. This process only cleans the water tank. Do not plug the device during this process.28 ENGLISH

The steamer is producing smoke and a loud humming sound. Check water level and rell the water tank. The steamer does not remove creases correctly. Hold the steamer in an upright position and stretch the fabric downward to ensure best results. Unsure when to use the clothes brush. When steaming delicate fabric, such as silk to reduce the risk of water dripping onto the garment while steaming. Metal accessories on garment are discolouring. Do not steam directly over the metal accessories. Use caution and steam around the metal accessories.

The warranty will not cover the following situations: The product has been used for purposes other than those intended for it, misused, beaten, exposed to moisture, immersed in liquid or corrosive substances, as well as any other fault attributable to the customer. The product has been disassembled, modied, or repaired by persons, not authorised by the ofcial Technical Support Service of Cecotec. Faults deriving from the normal wear and tear of its parts, due to use. The warranty service covers every manufacturing defects of your appliance for 2 years, based on current legislation, except consumable parts. In the event of misuse, the warranty will not apply.
