BATTERY Please Note! ■ Do not charge up on a computer because the computer might be dam- aged by the high charging current. If the operating element(3) cannot be switched on, the battery is too weak and needs to be charged. To connect the device to the plug socket, a USB mains adapter (5 V and ≥1 A; not supplied with the device) is required.
1. First plug the USB cable into the
Micro-USB socket and then connect to a power source with USB interfaceEMS Belt
(preferably via a USB mains adapter to the plug socket). The charging process begins and the charge control lamp on the operating element lights up red.
2. As soon as the charge control lamp
goes out, the battery is charged. Disconnect the USB cable from the power source and then from the USB socket. SAFETY DEVICES The operating element (3) has two built-in safety functions:
- The operating element automatically switches off after 10 seconds if no contact is established between the skin and silicone pad in the belt.
- The operating element automatically switches off after 20 minutes of use. FUNCTIONS EMS stands for electrical muscle stimula- tion. The device is used to stimulate the abdominal muscles. Beginners should use the device for no more than 15 minutes a day to prevent overstimulation! Advanced users can use the device for up to 30 minutes a day. We recommend no more than 2 units per day, with a rest phase of at least 4 hours between the units. Modes M1 – Warm-up and cool down M2 – Intensive training, high level M3 – Intensive training, medium level M4 – Advanced training, medium level M5 – Advanced training, high level M6 – Complete training, high level Each mode has 9 different intensity levels. USE Please Note! ■ Do not use straight after eating. ■ The device should not be used before going to sleep. Massages have a stimulating effect, which may lead to problems getting to sleep. ■ For reasons of hygiene, the device should only be used by one person and cleaned after each use (see the “Cleaning and Storage” chapter). Keep the device clean. ■ The skin may feel warm during the treatment. This is normal and not a cause for concern. ■ Do not bend the silicone pads. ■ The silicone pads must not come into contact during use with metal parts, e.g. on belts, wrist watches, jewellery or similar items. ■ We explicitly point out that with some people skin irritations or hypersensi- tivity may occur as a result of the elec- trical muscle stimulation. In this case, stop using the device immediately and consult a doctor if necessary.
1. Thoroughly clean and then dry the
area which is to be trained.
2. Place the belt around you so that the
silicone pads in the belt rest directly on the skin over the abdominal mus- cles. Fix the belt using the hook-and- loop fastener (Picture B).
3. Attach the operating element (3) to
the belt using the press studs (Picture C). Both press studs must fi t securely for the device to work. The belt is suitable for a waist circumference of 65 – 110 cm. This circumference can be extended up to 140 cm with the extension strap (5).EN

2. Press the + button on the operating
element repeatedly to increase the intensity to the level where stimulation still feels pleasant. Use the – button on the operating element to reduce the intensity if necessary.
3. To switch mode, briefl y press the M
button on the operating element. After each change of mode, the inten- sity is automatically set to level0 and needs to be manually increased again.
4. To switch off the operating element,
press the – button on the operating element several times until the display switches off and the operating lamp goes out. The device automatically switches off after 20 minutes.
5. Clean the device after each use (see
the “Cleaning and Storage” chapter). What You Should Note When Training With EMS
- The most important thing fi rst: Train- ing with electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) is the perfect accompaniment to your regular sports regime. Howev- er, it is not a substitute for traditional training!
- The EMS only boosts your strength and is not a substitute for endurance training. To ensure that you train your whole body in a sensible way, you should also focus on strengthening your stamina.
- You should build up strength not only using EMS. Targeted traditional strength training combined with EMS will boost the effect.
- Particularly if you want to improve your performance in a particular sport through EMS, you should replicate movements that are typical of this sport during the training. This will help you to train your coordination.
- It is particularly important to drink a lot during EMS training. This is because fi rstly large amounts of water can col- lect in the muscles during the training. So to ensure you do not experience any circulation problems, you should always remember to drink enough. And secondly EMS training increases the secretion of the enzyme creatine kinase (CK), which is eliminated via the kidneys. Having suffi cient fl uid in the body aids the kidneys.
- Include suffi cient recovery phases between your training sessions. We recommend, particularly for begin- ners, that you train no more than once or twice a week.
- EMS training is not designed for you to endure pain in order to produce supposed better results. This can damage your health more than it benefi ts it. You should therefore never train too much and not at an intensity level that is too high.EMS Belt
CLEANING AND STORAGE
Please Note! ■ After each use, store the device in a place where children cannot use it. ■ No liquid must get into the operating element. Never immerse the operat- ing element in water! ■ Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents or pads to clean the device. These may damage the surfaces.
- Remove the operating element (3) from the belt (1) after use.
- Clean the belt in accordance with the washing label.
- Clean the operating element with a slightly damp, soft cloth.
- Store all parts in a dry place which is protected from moisture, dirt and direct sunlight and is out of the reach of children and animals. TROUBLESHOOTING If the device does not work properly, check whether you are able to rectify the problem yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps below, contact the customer service department. Do not attempt to repair an elec- trical device yourself! The operating element (3) does not work. / The display does not show anything. The battery is empty. ► Charge up the battery. The operating element (3) repeated- ly switches off. There is no contact between the skin and silicone pads in the belt (1). ► Make sure that the silicone pads fit correctly. There must be skin contact. There must not be any hairs, clothing, jewellery etc. between the skin and silicone pads. The operating element (3) is not attached to the belt (1) correctly. ► Check whether the operating ele- ment is correctly attached to the press studs. The battery is too weak. ► Charge up the battery. The display shows the mode and intensity, but no pulses for muscle stimulation are emitted. The silicone pads in the belt (1) are not fi tted correctly. ► Keep changing the position of the silicone pads until the spot with the strongest muscle contraction has been found. The intensity level is set too low. ► Increase the intensity level. The silicone pads are dirty. ► Clean the silicone pads. The battery is too weak. ► Charge up the battery.EN
