INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

BEFORE USE:

  • Make sure that all the product's packaging has been removed.
  • Before using the product for the first time, clean the parts that will come into contact with food in the manner described in the cleaning section.

ASSEMBLING OF THE HOPPER: (FIG. 1)

  • Due to transport, the hopper comes dismantled
  • Unscrew the screw fixed on the mill holder
  • Put the hopper on the mill holder and be sure that holes are aligned
  • Place again the screw.

GRINDING SIZE REGULATOR:

  • The suitable grinding size depends on the characteristics of the bean, humidity and toast. Not all types of coffee have the same characteristics, so is recommendable to do a trial run with each coffee batch and if necessary adjust the grinding size.
  • To select the finest ground size, turn the knob regulator clockwise
  • To select more coarsely ground size, turn the knob regulator anticlockwise
  • If is difficult turn the knob, probably a rest coffee bean locks the mill. Connect the appliance and switch ON few seconds

USE:

  • Unroll the cable completely before plugging it in.
  • Connect the appliance to the mains.
  • Open the lid.
  • Fill the tank with coffee beans
  • Place the filter holder under ground coffee outlet, supporting it in the bracket (E) and use it to push the ON/OFF button (F)
  • The quantity of ground coffee will depend on the time you keep the push-button pressed; to obtain 7gr (the perfect quantity) approximately with 10 seconds is enough

ONCE YOU HAVE FINISHED USING THE APPLIANCE:

  • Stop the appliance by releasing the pressure on the on/off button.
  • Unplug the appliance from the mains.
  • Clean the appliance.

CLEANING

  • Disconnect the appliance from the mains and allow it to cool before undertaking any cleaning task.
  • Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a few drops of washing-up liquid and then dry.
  • Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or base pH such as bleach, or abrasive products, for cleaning the appliance.
  • Never submerge the appliance in water or any other liquid or place it under running water.
  • It is advisable to clean the appliance regularly and remove any food remains.

- Take the appliance to an authorised technical support service if product is damaged or other problems arise. Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the appliance yourself as this may be dangerous.
