- The device is particularly suitable for fi lled pastries made from puff or short pastry. You can use either bought or homemade pastry.
- Make sure that the pieces of pastry which are used are large enough to cover the edges of the plates. You must also ensure that this is the case after fi lling the pastries so that the fi lling does not leak out during the baking process.
- With the fi llings, you should make sure that all ingredients are fi nely chopped up so that they become hot during the short baking time.
- It is essential for the fi lling to be pre- cooked. In particular with raw ingre- dients such as meat, fi sh and vegeta- bles, this is very crucial because they would not be cooked during the short baking time in the device.
- Prepare the fi lling and allow it to cool down before you place it in the pastry pouches. This will prevent the pastry from becoming soggy.EN

The rising steam could cause damage to them! ■ The device may only be operated in a horizontal position, never on its side or tilted. ■ The device must not be left unattend- ed during operation! ■ Do not overfi ll the pastry moulds or fi ll them with liquid ingredients such as sauce or pudding. The ingredients could run out of the device and cause burns due to the high temperatures. ■ In the interest of your own safety, inspect the device and the connecting cable for damage each time before you use it. Use the device only if it is in working order.
Although the plates have a non- stick coating, we still recommend that you lightly grease them. Do not use any cooking spray as it can attack the non-stick coating!
