Before using Luca scooter please read the included user manual carefully. The user manual is an integral element of the product. Therefore, keep it with the packaging for future reference. Always keep children in sight when they are using the product.

GENERAL NOTES
The product should be assembled by or under the supervision of adults. Incorrect assembly of the scooter may result in serious injuries to its user and other people.
UNFOLDING LO-LUCA SCOOTER
- Release the quick assembly lever and loosen the securing screw (fig. 1).
- Pull up the retaining bracket and unfold the scooter's frame. The screw and the bracket will automatically fit into the guide (fig. 2).
- Tighten the securing screw and secure the quick assembly lever (fig. 3).
- Pull the handle out of the plastic holder and insert it into the handlebar guide so that the locking part locks into the hole. Repeat the procedure with the other side (fig. 4).
- Adjusting the height of the handlebar: Release the quick assembly lever and loosen the securing screw. Push the locking part and, holding it, move the
handlebar up or down to the desired position. Then tighten the screw and secure the quick assembly lever (fig. 5).
FOLDING LO-LUCA SCOOTER
- Release the quick assembly lever and loosen the securing screw. Push the locking part and, holding it, move the handlebar down to the lowest position. Then tighten the screw and secure the quick assembly lever (fig. 6).
- Push the locking part and, holding it, pull the handle out of the handlebar guide and put it into a plastic holder (fig. 7).
- Release the quick assembly lever and loosen the securing screw. Pull up the retaining bracket and fold the scooter's frame. The screw and the bracket will automatically fit into the guide (fig. 8).
- Tighten the securing screw and secure the quick assembly lever (fig. 9).
HOW TO USE
Place one foot on the platform, then grab the handlebar and choose your direction. With the help of second foot push yourself from the floor to start moving. To change the direction gently move the handlebar. For the first ride it is recommended to practise in an open space without obstacles.
press the rear mudguard with your left or right foot, shifting your weight to the back of the vehicle. Control it accordingly while stopping to avoid tipping over. Caution - the mudguard may be hot, avoid touching it to prevent burns.
WHEEL REPLACEMENT AND BEARING MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
If the wheels show clear signs of wear, consider replacing them. Using an Allen key, remove the screw that secures the wheel to the scooter frame. Remove the retaining pin and then the wheel. If the technical condition of the bearings is satisfactory, keep them for future re-assembly. To do so: remove the bearings, clean them and apply the right amount of grease. Mount them again in the new wheel. If the technical condition of the bearings is inadequate, buy a new one and repeat the assembly process.
WARNING:
- The maximum permissible load is 100kg . (Class A)
- The manufacturer and dealers assume no liability for any damage caused by improper usage.
- Wear protective pads: knee pads, elbow pads, helmet and gloves.
- When using the product, wear full clothing.
- Ride the scooter only on flat surfaces.
- Ride with both hands on the handlebar.
- Do not transport or hold sharp objects when riding.
- Do not ride on wet and slippery surfaces. Otherwise, it increases the risk of falling.
- Do not ride on stairs or steps. Using the scooter on such surfaces greatly increases the risk of accident and damage to the device.
- Always check the brake and the operation of the handlebar before riding.
- If the scooter is used by a child, they must be constantly observed by adults.
- The scooter can only be used away from traffic, and only on paved surfaces.
- The scooter is not designed to perform jumps.
- Do not modify the product.
- Before use make sure all the parts are installed correctly and tightly locked in places.
- If any part is damaged, replace it immediately. In such case, go to an authorized service or contact the manufacturer.
- Check the product regularly for possible defects to ensure your child's safety during use. When using the product, some of its components may be subject to natural wear. It is recommended that after the first year of use, all components be inspected, in particular the quality of product fixings. If in doubt, contact the manufacturer.
- Tighten all screws before using the product.
- Always wear shoes when using the product.
- Do not ride in the darkness.
- Mechanism to reduce speed will get hot from continuous use, do not touch after braking.
- Always check the limitation of use according to regulations of road safety.
- Self-locking nuts and other self-locking fixings may lose their effectiveness
after approximately 6 months, the scooter should be inspected regularly and before each use.
- Check that the steering system is correctly adjusted.
