How to install the Lene baby playpen?

To install the playpen, remove it from the bag and unfasten the straps. Place it on the floor, spread the legs by pulling them in opposite directions. Make sure the central lock is raised as high as possible so that the handrails click into place correctly. Pull each handrail to lock them, then press the central lock to flatten the bottom. Finally, place the mattress with the velcro facing the base.

Up to what age can my child use the playpen?

The Lionelo Lene playpen is designed for children from 0 to 36 months. However, it is not recommended to use it if the child is able to get out of the playpen on their own.

How to clean the Lene playpen?

Clean the playpen with a damp cloth, then let it air dry. Do not use abrasive products or solvents.

Is the mattress washable?

The mattress provided with the playpen can be cleaned with a damp cloth. It is not indicated that it is machine washable. Let it dry completely before reuse.

Can I use another mattress in the playpen?

No, you must only use the mattress sold with the playpen. Adding another mattress poses a strangulation risk. Never use two mattresses in the playpen.

How to fold the Lene playpen?

Remove all accessories. Pull the central handle upward. To unlock the handrails, press the buttons on each side, gently pull upward then push down. While pulling the handle, lift the floor and fold the legs. Pack the folded playpen with the mattress and fasten the straps.

Is the playpen safe for my baby?

Yes, the playpen complies with standard EN 12227:2010. It is equipped with locking mechanisms and must be used on a flat surface. Never leave the child unattended and regularly check that no parts are damaged.

What to do if a part is broken?

Do not use the product if parts are missing or damaged. Contact the manufacturer at [e-mail] for spare parts or advice. Do not attempt to repair yourself.

Can I use the playpen outdoors?

The playpen is designed for indoor use. Outdoors, do not use it in strong wind and make sure the surface is flat and free of dangerous objects.

How to secure the playpen during installation?

Before placing the child, check that all locking mechanisms are locked and that the playpen is fully unfolded. Make sure the central lock is fully pressed so the floor is flat. Do not leave anything in the playpen that could pose a risk.

1. WARNING - Do not place the playpen close to an open fire or other heat source.
2. WARNING - Do not use the playpen without the base.
3. Do not leave anything in the playpen or place the playpen close to another product, which could provide a foothold or present a danger of suffocation or strangulation, e.g. strings, blind/curtain cords.
4. Do not use more than one mattress in the playpen.
5. The playpen is ready to use only when all the locking mechanisms are locked and carefully checked.
6. WARNING - Ensure that the playpen is fully erected and all the locking mechanisms engaged before placing your child in this playpen.
7. When assembling and disassembling, watch your fingers – you may trap them!
8. Do not repair or modify the product. Only the authorized service technicians are allowed to do so.
9. The product is intended for children from 0+ to 36 months.
10. Assemble and disassemble the product far away from children.

11. Always position the product on a smooth and flat surface. Always check surfaces under the product to make sure there are no items which may pose a threat to a child.

12. Do not cover the playpen with items which may hinder access of air or pose a threat to a child.

13. Do not use the playpen if your child is able to leave it.
14. Never leave your child unatt ended.
15. Before every use or assembly, make sure the playpen is not defective, has no loose connections, missing elements or sharp edges. Never use the product if any elements are missing or broken. In this case, contact the authorized service in order to receive replacement parts or seek advice.
16. Do not use a water matt ress.
17. Do not use a product outdoors if the wind is strong.
18. Do not use a product for other purposes than designed.
19. Accessories which are not approved by manufacturer shall not be used.
20. Do not leave any objects inside the playpen that could pose a threat of entrapment.
21. Check that all the elements are properly tightened before use.
22. Only use replacement parts that are recommended by the manufacturer.
23. The matt ress should be inserted with the Velcro down.

WARNING – Only use the matt ress sold with this playpen, do not add a second mattress on this one, suff ocati on hazards.

Assembly instruction

1. Take the travel baby playpen out of the bag and loosen the adhesive straps. Place the playpen on the floor and put the bag aside (see fig. 1).
2. Separate the legs pulling them apart. Keep the central lock up. Otherwise handrails will not fit in the right place (see fig. 2).

Note! In order to properly block the sides of the playpen/handrails, you must raise the central blockade of the floor to a maximum level. The baby rails will not lock when the floor is unfolded.

1. Pull the middle part of each top rail covered with material so that they fit into place.(see fig. 3).
2. Push the middle lock until the surface is completely flat (see fig. 4).
3. Place the mattress in the baby playpen (see fig. 5).

Baby playpen folding instruction

1. Remove all the playpen accessories. Grasp the center handle located in the middle of the floor and pull it up (see fig. 6).
2. To unlock the upper rails, press the indicated buttons on each side of them. Pull it slightly up and then push it down (see fig. 7).
3. While still pulling up the handle, lift the floor of the baby playpen and fold the legs (see fig. 8).
4. Wrap the folded playpen with the mattress and fasten it with Velcro straps. Put the folded baby playpen into the bag (see fig. 9).

Cleaning

Wash the product with a wet cloth and then allow to dry.
