2. Safety instructions for the user
General precautions during the use of electrical equipment
- Do not use the appliance for any other purpose than described in this manual.
- Do not use or store the appliance outdoors.
- Always place the appliance on to the flat and even surface
- This product is intended for indoor, non-industrial, non-commercial and only for household use.
- Do not use the item outdoors or for any other purpose. Misuse or improper handling may cause problems in the appliance and cause injury to the user.
- The unit must be used only for the intended purposes. No liability is accepted for damages arising from improper use or wrong handling.
- Ensure that the voltage indicated on the nameplate matches the mains voltage before plugging in the appliance.
- Always remove the plug from the power socket when the appliance is not in use. Do not leave the appliance unattended when switched on.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is being used by or near children.
- Before cleaning or storing your appliance, always unplug the appliance from the power supply and let it cool down.
- The device is not completely disconnected from the power source, even after it has been turned off. To disconnect it completely, disconnect it from the mains plug.
- The appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
- This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as

- Do not let the appliance operate unattended.
- Do not place or operate this appliance near water sources.
- Do not place or operate the appliance and its power cord on or near hot surfaces (e.g., stove plates) or open flames
- Do not leave the power cord hanging from sharp edges and keep away from hot objects and flames. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
- Never use accessories that are not recommended by the manufacturer.
- The use of accessories not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury to pe sons.
- When you want to remove the plug from the wall contact, please do this at the plug itself and not by pulling on the cable or the appliance itself.
- To avoid electric shock, make sure your hands are dry before plugging or unplugging.
- Do not use the device with wet hands, on damp floors or when the atmosphere is humid, there is a risk of electric shock.
- While using the appliance, make sure that the power cord must not be caught or crushed.
- Be careful, while handling electrical appliances, as the surface of the heating element is subject to residual heat after use. Any misuse may cause potential injury to the user and may
- damage the appliance.
- Do not touch the outer surface of the appliance as it can get very hot during operation. Instead, use the handle or mitts.
- Never immerse the appliance or the plug-in water or any other liquid. In the event of the appliance
- falling in water, disconnect immediately from the mains supply and take it to an authorized service agent for repair before reusing.
- Do not use the appliance if it has fallen on the floo , if there are visible signs of damage or if it has a leak.
- Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged. In case of the cord be damaged, it must be replaced only by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid azard.

- Your supply socket must be properly earthed.
- Clean the water container before the first usage
- During use, the product must be located in a position, which is not easily reached by children, and the cover should be securely closed to avoid spillage of boiling water.
- This product should only be used to boil water. Please do not boil other liquids such as milk and coffee
- Fill with water according to the pre-set water level with minimum le- vel at “MIN” and maximum level at “MAX”.
- Switch off and unplug from the outlet before filling, emptying or clea- ning, or when not in use.
- If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected
- Do not operate or place any part of this appliance on or near hot sur- faces (such as gas or electric burner or in a heated oven).
- Avoid touching the surface of the hot kettle, use the handle and kn- obs.
- To avoid possible steam damage, do not face the spout when ope- rating the kettle.
- If operated on wood furniture, use a protective pad to prevent dama- ge to delicate finishes
- To avoid scalding, always ensure the lid is correctly positioned befo- re operation.12 ENGLISH
- S calding may occur if the lid is removed while heating.
- Carefully open the lid when it is hot.
- Extreme caution must be used when moving the kettle containing hot water. Never lift the kettle by its lid. Always use the body handle.
- Do not switch your kettle on if it is empty.
- To protect from electrical hazard, do not immerse this kettle, power base or cord set in any liquid.
- To protect against fire, do not operate it in the presence of explosive and/or flammable fumes
- Should you accidentally allow the kettle to operate without water; the boil-dry protection will automatically switch it off. If this should occur, allow the kettle to cool before filling with cold water and re-boiling.
- Avoid spillage on the connector.
- To avoid a circuit overload when using this product, do not operate another high-wattage product on the same electrical circuit.
- A short power supply cord is provided with this product. An extension cord is not recommended for use with this product, but if one must be used:
- The marked electrical rating of the cord must be at least as great as that of the product.
- Arrange the extension cord so that it does not hang where it can be tripped over or pulled unintentionally.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Kindly refer to the cleaning and maintenance section for details on how to clean surfaces which comes in the contact of food.
- Read the important safeguards and Caution. - Fill kettle up to the MAX WATER MARK and let the water boil, pour the water, cool the kettle and repeat for at least 3 times before using. NOTE: The max capacity of kettle is 1.0L.
1. Place the water kettle upright on a dry, sturdy and flat surface
2. To fill the kettle, remove it from the power base and open the lid by pressing down lid release button,
then fill the kettle with the desired amount of water and close the lid. The water level must be within the Min and the Max level. Too little water will cause the kettle switching off before the water has boiled NOTE: Do not fill the water over the maximum level, as water may spill out of the spout when boiling. Ensure that the lid is firmly placed before plugging in the power outlet
3. Dry the water on the bottom of the body if it is wet, then place the kettle securely back to the base.
Connect the plug into a power outlet. Press down the switch, the indicator will light up, and then the kettle starts to boil the water. Once the water has boiled, kettle will switch off automatically, because of built-in safety cut-off function. It will take you 30 seconds to wait, before pressing the switch again to re-boil the water. You need to shut off the power by lifting switch up or directly lifting the kettle from the power base at any moment to stop boiling process. NOTE: Ensure that switch is free of obstructions and the lid is firmly closed, the kettle will not turn o if the switch be constrained or if the lid is opened.
4. Lift the kettle from the power base and then pour the water.
NOTE: Operate carefully when pouring the water from your kettle as boiling water may result in scald, besides, don’t open the lid while the water is inside the hot kettle.
5. You may also switch the kettle off at any time by pressing the “on/off” switch. After the boiling is
finished, allow the kettle to cool down for 15 minutes before refilling cold wat .

Should you accidentally let the kettle operate without water, the function of boil-dry protection will automatically switch off the power. 6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Always disconnect the appliance from the power outlet and cool it down completely before cleaning. Never immerse the kettle, power cord or power base in water, or allow moisture to contact with these parts. Wipe the appearance of body with a damp cloth or non-abrasive cleaner. CAUTION: Do not use chemical, steel, wooden or abrasive cleaners to clean the outside of the kettle to prevent the loss of gloss.
