SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE USER
- This product is intended for indoor, non-in- dustrial, non-commercial; household use only household wae maker. Do not use the item outdoors or for any other purpose. Misuse or improper handling may cause problems in the appliance and cause injury to the user.
- Ensure that the voltage indicated on the na- meplate matches the mains voltage before plugging in the appliance.
- Do not use or store the appliance outdoors.
- Always remove the plug from the power soc- ket when the appliance is not in use. Do not leave the appliance unattended when swit- ched on.
- Before cleaning or storing your appliance, always unplug the appliance from the power supply and let it cool down.
- The appliances are not intended to be opera- ted by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.

- Do not touch the surface of the appliance as it can get very hot during operation. Instead, use the handle or mitts. Do not use sharp utensils to remove toast. When removing toast, be careful not to da- mage the heating wires.

- A- Before using the appliance for the rst time, clean the parts thoroughly (see Maintenance section).
- Set the toaster to the highest setting, and operate twice without any bread inside. Ventilate the room during this period.
- It is normal if some smoke or smell emanates from the appliance when using it for the rst time. Toasting
- Plug the unit into the power supply socket.
- Insert the slices of bread into the slot.
- Adjust the timer to the desired level:
- Press the sliding lever down until it locks. The pilot light will come on, indicating that the appliance is heating.
- When toasting is nished, the bread slices will be ejected, and the toaster will shut o automatically. Reheating
- Use the Reheat function to warm up cold toasts without over browning.
- After following the Toasting instructions, press the Reheat button to reduce heat intensity. The Reheat pilot light will come on. Defrost
- Frozen bread requires more time to warm up.
- After following the Toasting instructions, press the Defrost button to prolong toasting time. The Defrost pilot light will come on. Cancel
- You can cancel toasting at any time, by pressing the Cancel button. The Cancel pilot light will come on. Crumb Tray
- The crumb tray collects any crumbs that fall into the toaster.
- Regularly empty out the crumb tray.
- Pull out to remove the crumb tray. Slide back in once nished. MAINTENANCE
- Make sure the appliance is unplugged and allow it to cool down before starting to clean it.
- Never use abrasive detergents, organic solvents or aggressive chemicals.
- Remove any bread crumbs stuck in the slot by gently turning the device upside down. STORAGE
- Make sure the appliance is unplugged and allow it to cool down before storing it.
- Clean the device before storing it (see Maintenance section).
- Carefully reel the cable.
- Store the appliance in a cool and dry place.
