How do I connect the docking station to my computer?

Simply plug the USB-C cable of the docking station into a USB-C port on your computer. If your computer supports USB-C DP Alt Mode, external displays will work automatically. The docking station is plug and play.

Which operating systems are compatible?

The docking station is compatible with Windows 10, macOS 10.14 and later, as well as Chrome OS.

Can the docking station charge my laptop?

Yes, thanks to Power Delivery (PD) up to 100 W. Please note that the USB-C PD power adapter is not included and your laptop must be PD 3.0 compatible.

Can I use HDMI and VGA ports simultaneously?

Yes, both ports can display the same image simultaneously, with a maximum resolution of 1080p. For higher resolutions, use a single display.

What is the maximum supported resolution?

The HDMI port supports up to 4K @ 30 Hz. The VGA port supports up to 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz.

My USB device does not work on the docking station, what should I do?

Make sure the device is properly inserted. Try another port. If the problem persists, test the device directly on your computer. Check in Device Manager that the docking station is recognized. In case of overcurrent, the port shuts off; disconnect and reset via Device Manager.

Is the docking station compatible with HP computers?

Some HP laptops with a 12V PD charging profile may not be compatible. Check your device specifications.

How do I clean the docking station?

Use a soft, dry cloth to dust the device. Do not use chemicals or liquids.

Troubleshooting

Device Not Working

• Make sure that the device is fully inserted into the correct port on the portable dock.
• Plug the device into a different port on the USB dock. If it still doesn't work, test the device by connecting it directly to your computer.
• Make sure that the device appears in Device Manager.
• Disconnect all devices from the dock and reconnect them, one at a time. Check that each device works before plugging in the next one.
  • Each laptop USB Type-C port is equipped with over-current protection. When a USB device draws more current than the USB Type-C port can supply, the port will shut down.

To re-enable the port, unplug the device and go to Device Manager or to the message in the system tray and choose the Reset option. You can then plug the device back into the USB port. If a shut down reoccurs, check the power requirements of the device.

Verifying Devices are Installed

You can view the devices installed on the portable dock from the Device Manager window in System Properties.

Right-click My Computer, Properties, then click the Hardware tab, and then the Device Manager button.
