  1. Read these instructions carefully and keep them in a safe place.
  2. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruct on concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

Electricity and heat

USING YOUR GRILL

  1. Before rst use, see CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS and HINTS FOR CARE AND USE OF NON-STICK SURFACE.
  2. Li the heating plate up, and insert the oil container into the slot in the center of the base. Place the heating plate onto the base, inserting the probe receptacle into the slot on the side of the base. Attach the thermostat connector into the unit. Make sure the temperature control faces upwards.

  3. Connect the mains plug to a suitable socket.

  4. Set the desired temperature by means of the temperature control 1/2/3/4/5. The indicator lamp lights up.

  5. The unit, on its first use, might emit light smell. It is however of no consequence. Brie y ensure sufficient ven la on.

  6. As soon as this temperature has been attained, the indicator light goes off.

  7. When the grill has cooled down, the grill is heated up again automatically. The indicator light glows Il the set temperature is aained again.

  8. Always turn the temperature control to "OFF", to switch off the grill.

  9. Pull out the mains plug from the socket and pull out the thermostat connector from the unit.

  10. Carry the grill only by the handles.

  11. Let the grill cool down outside the reach of the children. Cau on: Grill surfaces are hot during use.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Unplug and allow it to cool completely before cleaning or moving.
  2. Remove cord set (Do not immerse it in water), wipe with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
    Cau on: Probe and probe receptacle must always be completely dry before use.

Note: The oil container is dishwasher safe.

HINTS FOR CARE AND USE OF NON-STICK SURFACE

• To avoid scratching the non-s ck surface, do not stack objects on grill.
- Use medium to low heat for best cooking results. Very high temperatures can cause discolora on and shorten the life span of any non-sck surface. If higher temperatures are necessary, preheat on medium for a few minutes.
- Use only nylon, plas c or wooden utensils with care to avoid scratching the non-s ck surface. Never cut food on the grill.
- Remove stubborn stains with a plas c scouring pad and mild dish washing liquid.
- Do not use steel wool.
