How to replace the lens of the LED Pinspot 2?

Remove the retaining ring by turning counterclockwise. Replace the lens with the supplied 9° lens. Be sure to reinstall the retaining ring to prevent the lens from falling when hanging.

Can I use a dimmer with this projector?

No, never plug this projector into a dimmer or rheostat. This could damage the unit and void the warranty.

What type of safety cable is recommended?

Use an appropriate safety cable, such as the Chauvet CH-05. Pass it through the mounting bracket and attach it to a load-bearing structure.

How to install the color gels?

Remove the retaining ring to access the lens. Place the gel between the lens and the ring, then screw the ring back on. Make sure it is secure.

What is the required power supply voltage?

The unit accepts a universal voltage of 100–240 VAC, 50/60 Hz. It automatically adapts.

Can I use this projector outdoors?

No, this projector is designed for indoor use only. Do not expose it to rain, moisture, or temperatures above 40 °C.

What is the minimum safe viewing distance?

Do not look at the light source from less than 2.7 meters (8.86 feet). Beyond that, prolonged viewing is safe.

How to clean the unit?

Disconnect the unit before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive or liquid products.

What to do if the unit does not turn on?

Safety Notes

These Safety Notes include important information about installation, use, and maintenance of the LED Pinspot 2.

■ The luminaire is intended for professional use only.
■ The luminaire should be positioned so that prolonged staring into the luminaire at a distance closer than 8.86 ft (2.7 m) is not expected.
If the external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire is damaged, it shall be replaced by a special cord or cord exclusively available from the manufacturer or its service agent.
■ The light source contained in this luminaire shall only be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similar qualified person.

■ ALWAYS:

◆ Connect to a grounded circuit.
- Connect to operating voltages as specified on the product's spec sticker.
♦ Disconnect from its power source during periods of inactivity.
◆ Use a safety cable when suspending overhead.
- Heed all restrictions and warnings on the spec sticker.
◆ Mount in a location with at least 20 in (50 cm) of ventilation.

■ In the event of a serious operating problem, stop using immediately.

■ DO NOT:

◆ Open this product or attempt any repairs. It contains no user-serviceable parts.
◆ Look at the light source when the product is on.
◆ Use if the power cord is crimped or damaged.
♦ Disconnect by pulling on the power cord.

Lens Replacement

Lens (5° installed, 9° included) Color Gel Retainer Ring (Remove to access lens and color gel. MUST be reinstalled properly.)

If the retainer ring is not installed correctly, the lens will fall out. This creates a safety hazard for overhead mounting.
