How to attach the silk flame to the BOB LED H3?

Attach each magnetic strip of the fake silk flame to a silk fixing plate located on the base. Be careful not to damage the silk.

Can I use a remote control with this device?

Yes, the BOB LED H3 is compatible with the Chauvet IRC-6 infrared remote control. You can purchase this remote separately.

How to change the flame color?

Use the button on the control panel. Each press cycles through the preset colors (red, yellow, lime green, green, light blue, dark blue, magenta, UV, white) and the automatic snap or fade modes.

What is the power consumption of the BOB LED H3?

The device consumes 34 W, regardless of the supply voltage (120 V or 230 V). It is therefore very energy efficient.

How to install the device on the ceiling?

Use the provided suspension chain. Attach the three chain sections to the holes on the base. Ensure that the structure supports the weight (2.3 kg) and that the silk flame does not touch the chain.

What are the important safety instructions to follow?

Do not expose eyes directly to the light source. Use only indoors (IP20). Install at least 50 cm from surfaces for ventilation. Do not open the device, it contains no user-serviceable parts.

How to replace the fuse?

Unplug the device. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the cap of the fuse holder. Remove the blown fuse and replace it with a fuse of the same type (F1AL, 250 V). Screw the cap back on and plug in.

What are the available operating modes?

The device offers fixed colors (9 colors), a snap mode (automatic transition from one color to another without fading) and a fade mode (gradual transition). The speed of the automatic modes can be adjusted.

How to clean the device?

Always unplug the device before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquids or aerosols. Ensure that the ventilation slots are not obstructed.

What to do if the device does not turn on?

Check that the device is plugged into an appropriate power outlet. Check the fuse (see question on replacement). If the problem persists, contact Chauvet customer service.

To Begin

Unpack your BOB LED H3 and make sure you have received all parts in good condition. If the box or contents appear damaged, notify the carrier immediately, not Chauvet.

Product Description

The BOB LED H3 is a multi-colored flame simulator that does not produce heat. This LED-powered fixture simulates a flickering cauldron and can be changed to almost any color. The BOB LED H3 can either stand on included legs or hang from the included chains.

AC Power

The BOB LED H3 has a fixed power supply that works with an input voltage range of 120 VAC, 60Hz or 230 VAC, 50Hz , depending on the specific model.

To eliminate wear and improve its lifespan, during periods of non-use completely disconnect the product from power via breaker or by unplugging it.

Fuse Replacement

1. Disconnect the product from power.
2. With a Philip's head screwdriver, unscrew the fuse holder cap from the housing.
3. Remove the blown fuse.
4. Replace with a fuse of the same type and rating.
5. IScrew the fuse holder cap back in place and reconnect power.

Disconnect the product from the power outlet before replacing the fuse.

Operation

This product will stay on as long as it is plugged in. To use this product:

1. Attach the silk simulated flame attachment piece to the flame base.
2. Connect the product to a suitable power outlet.

Silk Flame Attachment

Attach each magnetic strip on the simulated silk flame to a silk attachment plate on the base. Be careful not to damage the silk.

Mounting

Before mounting this product, read the Safety Notes. The BOB LED H3 may be used with the chain suspensions or with the 3 surface mounting legs that are provided with the fixture. Make sure there is adequate room for ventilation when mounting this product.

Rigging

• Ensure that the structure can support the product's weight before mounting the product on to it. See the product's User Manual for Weight formation.
• Attach legs with included hardware, using a Philip's screwdriver. Attach legs one at a time.
