How does the lamp turn on automatically?

The lamp is equipped with a twilight sensor that detects the ambient brightness level. In the dark, the LED turns on automatically; in daylight, it turns off.

Can I charge multiple devices simultaneously on the USB ports?

Yes, the lamp has 2 USB-A ports with a maximum total current of 2.0 A. Simultaneous charging is possible, but the current will be shared between the ports (1.0 A per port maximum).

What type of cable should I use to charge my devices?

Use a standard USB cable suitable for your device or the original charging cable. Plug the USB connector into the lamp and the other end into your device.

Does the lamp heat up during use?

Depending on the output power used, the lamp may slightly heat up. This is normal. Never use it unattended and do not cover it.

How to clean the lamp?

Always unplug the lamp before cleaning. Use a dry lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive products, solvents, or hard or scratchy objects.

Can I replace the LED if it stops working?

The LED light source is fixed and non-replaceable. At the end of the LED's life, the entire lamp must be replaced.

What safety precautions are important?

Only plug the lamp into a suitable outlet (220-240V). Do not use it in a damp room or in the rain. Do not cover it. Do not open it. Unplug it in case of a fault or prolonged non-use.

What to do in case of a fault or damage?

If the lamp has cracks, deformations, or damage to the housing or connector, do not use it. Contact your dealer or the manufacturer.

Where to dispose of the lamp at end of life?

Do not dispose of it with household waste. Use your municipality's return and collection systems or return it to the retailer. The crossed-out bin symbol indicates this.

These operating instructions are for the ANSMANN NL15AC-2USB LED nightlight with automatic twilight control and two USB ports. They contain important information for first use and handling. Read through the operating instructions carefully, in particular the safety instructions, before using the LED nightlight. Disregard of these operating instructions can result in a hazard or damage to the LED nightlight. Keep the operating instructions for future use.

CHECK LED NIGHTLIGHT

NOTE! Risk of damage!

If you open the package carelessly with a sharp knife or other pointed object the LED nightlight could be damaged. Be very careful when opening.

1. Remove the packaging material and all of the protective film (if present).
2. Take the LED nightlight out of the packaging.
3. Check whether the LED nightlight has any damage. If it shows signs of damage, do not use the LED nightlight. Contact your dealer or the manufacturer.

PROPER INTENDED USE

The nightlight is designed for use in dry and closed indoor rooms. It is suitable for private household use. The product is not intended as room lighting and not intended for commercial use. The LED nightlight is not a toy. The nightlight is an orientation aid and auxiliary light in the dark. Use the LED nightlight only as described in these operating instructions. Any other use is considered improper use and can result in material damage. The manufacturer or dealer accepts no liability

for damage arising from improper use or misuse.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING!

Risk of electric shock! Faulty electrical installations or mains voltage that is too high can result in an electric shock.

■Only connect the LED night-light if the mains voltage at the socket matches the required operating voltage for the light and use an easily accessible mains socket so that you can disconnect the light from the mains quickly

in the event of a fault.

■Do not use the product if there is damage to the housing or plug. There is a risk of electric shock in the event of damage to the housing! Risk of death!

■Do not open or modify the product!

■Never cover the LED night-light when it is operating.

■Never touch the mains plug with wet hands.

■Never submerge the product in water or other liquids.

Avoid dripping water. Always keep the product dry.

■Use the LED nightlight only indoors. Never operate it in damp rooms or in the rain.
■If you are not using the LED nightlight or if a fault arises, always switch off the LED nightlight and disconnect it from the power source.
■The LED light source cannot be replaced. When the LED comes to the end of its service life, the complete lamp must be replaced.
■Failure to observe the safety instructions can result in dangerous injuries to persons or damage to the

device!

■This product is not to be used by persons (including children) who have restricted physical, sensory or mental capabilities or who do not have adequate experience and knowledge in handling this product.

- Keep the product and the packaging away from children.

■Do not allow children to play with the packaging film. They could become caught in it while playing and suffocate.

USE

The nightlight has an automatic twilight sensor.

Insert the mains plug of the nightlight into a properly installed mains wall socket.

Thanks to the twilight sensor, the LED nightlight switches on automatically when darkness falls and switches off automatically during daylight.

Charging of devices via the USB ports:

In order to charge a device, such as a smartphone for example, please use a suitable USB cable or the original charge cable for your device. The nightlight has 2x USB-A outputs.

Insert the USB plug of the cable into the nightlight and the other end into your device.

The charge process starts automatically. Simultaneous charging of multiple end-devices is possible with restrictions. This is dependent on the total required charge current and charge voltage. Please disconnect your device from the nightlight once the charging process is complete.

The nightlight may heat up a little depending on the output power required.

Never use the USB charging function of the nightlight whilst unattended.

CLEANING AND CARE

Risk of electric shock!

Incorrect handling of the LED nightlight can result in an electric shock.

CLEANING

• Carry out cleaning tasks only when the mains plug is removed from the mains power.
• Let the LED nightlight cool down completely before cleaning.
  ■ Use only a dry, lint-free cloth for cleaning.
• Do not use scratching, hard objects or cleaning utensils such as wire brushes or sponges for cleaning.
• Do not use abrasive agents or solvents for cleaning.

CARE

Disconnect the device from the mains before cleaning or before storing for an extended period of time.

DISPOSAL

Dispose of packaging after sorting by material type.

Cardboard and cardboard to the waste paper, film to the recycling collection.

Dispose of the device in accordance with legal provisions. The "waste bin" symbol indicates that, in the EU, it is not permitted to dispose of electrical equipment in household waste. Use the return and collection

systems in your area or contact the dealer from whom you purchased the product. In this way you will fulfil your legal obligations and contribute to environmental protection.
