How to install the Floc System?

Mount the unit on the wall using the supplied wall plugs. Connect the suction hose (PVC) to the inlet and the discharge hose (polyethylene) to the outlet. Install the non-return valve on the injection line. Plug in the 100-240 VAC power supply and connect the Flow input to the circulation pump if present.

How to program the dosing?

Press Enter and Esc simultaneously for 5 seconds to access the menu. Enter the password if set. Use the arrows to navigate and Enter to confirm. Set the setpoint from 10 to 100% and choose the dosing mode (manual, mA, pulses or frequency).

How to change the display language?

In the programming menu, select Language then choose from available languages: French, English, German, Spanish, Italian.

What does the 'Level Low' alarm mean?

The 'Level Low' alarm indicates a low level of chemical in the reservoir. Press Enter to open the alarm relay, then restore the product level.

How to perform calibration?

In the Advanced menu, enable calibration. Place a 100 cc container under the outlet and start calibration for 60 seconds. The system adjusts the nominal flow from -20% to +10%.

What are the available dosing modes?

Four modes: Manual (constant flow), mA (slaved to a 4-20 mA signal), Pulses (from a water meter), and Frequency (frequency signal).

How to clean and maintain the device?

Before long-term storage, pump clean water to rinse the hoses. Place the roller holder at 45° by turning clockwise. Keep away from frost.

What to do in case of parameter error?

The 'Parameter Error' alarm is displayed. Press Enter to restore default parameters. If the problem persists, perform a diagnostic by holding the Up and Down arrows while powering on.

How to reset the device to factory settings?

Power off the instrument. Hold the Up and Down arrows, then power on. The instrument displays a message; press the arrows to avoid restoration or press Enter to confirm reset.

What is the maximum injection pressure?

The maximum back pressure at injection is 1.5 bar. Exceeding this value may damage the device.

Make sure that the injection pressure is below 1.5 bar.

Electrical Connection:

Connect the power supply cable to the general power supply network and in parallel connect the Flow connector to the recirculation pump if present on the system; the Flow inlet (230 Vac) is connected to the Flow function, if enabled (ON) it allows the dosing to be activated when the system recirculation is present.

Programming

The programming menu can be accessed by simultaneously pressing the Enter and Esc keys for at least 5 seconds.

If a password other than 0000 is set, the system will ask for the password to access the programming menu.

Upon release of the keys the display will show:

The calibration function allows the nominal flow rate of the pump to be adjusted from -20% to +10% .

E.g.:

[ 160 \, \mathrm{ml/h} - 20\% = 130 \, \mathrm{ml/h} ]

160 ml/h + 10% = 175 ml/h

Digital adjustment of the flow rate in the range:

130 ÷ 175 ml / h

Once the type of dosing is set keep the SET key pressed for 5 seconds; the range of inlet values is modified, pressing the Enter key and choosing using UP and DOWN, always confirming with the Enter key; the range of values is connected with the speed of the pump (10-100%).

Exit Menu:

To exit from the programming Menu, press the Esc key, and the system will display:

In the 1st level menu a new item will appear for setting the range of values. Priming

Priming is activated and deactivated using a side switch MOM position.

With the switch in the ON position, the system is on and ready for operation.

When the switch is on the OFF position, the pump goes on standby.

The pump:

When the regulation device is stored, it is recommended to pump clean water to rinse the tube. Then, position the roller holder at 45^ , rotating it clockwise. These two precautions will facilitate the subsequent reactivation of the unit.

Keep away from frost.
