1. Battery compartment

Repair work shall only be carried out by the manufacturer or by a ser- vice technician appointed by the manufacturer or by a similarly qualified person. Keep the product and the packaging away from children. This product is not a toy. Children should be supervised in order to ensure that they do not play with the product. This product is not to be used by persons (including children) who have restricted physical, sensory or mental capabilities or who do not have adequate experience and knowledge in handling this product. Such persons must be instructed beforehand by a supervisory person who is responsible for their safety or must be supervised during the use of the product! The light-emitting surface must be kept clean. The lamp may only be used in accordance with its intended use. Do not use the lamp in potentially explosive areas and do not expose it to excessive heat. Failure to observe the safety instructions can result in dangerous injuries to persons or damage to the device! PROPER INTENDED USE: Lamp for indoor and outdoor use. Not intended for any other applications. Not suitable for household room lighting. Suitable for extreme physical conditions. FIRST USE: The product has an infrared remote control. The lamp can be turned on and off using either this remote con- trol, or the button on the bottom side of the lamp. The remote control can be used to activate various colours, a 4-hour or 8-hour timer and other functions (colour change).BATTERY REPLACEMENT: Make sure to switch the lamp off before changing the batteries. To change the batteries, unscrew the battery compartment’s sealing cover. Remove the old batteries. Always change all of the batteries at the same time. Insert the new batteries as indicated by the markings in the battery holder. ATTENTION! Take care to observe the polarity markings (+/-) in the battery compartment. Otherwise, there may be a risk that the batteries could become damaged and explode. Ensure that you do not short-circuit the con- tacts. Keep the contacts away from any metal or damp objects when changing the batteries. Then close the battery compartment again. Never attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Never use new batteries and used batteries together. Use only high-quality batteries of the same type. The use of rechargeable batteries and high-current batteries is not permitted due to other electrical characteristics. In the event that this light will not be used for an extended period of time, ensure that the batteries are removed to avoid damage. Empty batteries must be removed. ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION | DISPOSAL: The product should not be discarded in the normal hou- sehold waste under any circumstances. Dispose of the product via an authorised disposal centre or your munici- pal waste disposal facility. Observe the current applicable regulations. Contact your waste disposal facility in the event of any doubt. Dispose of all packaging materials via an environmentally friendly disposal facility. Used batteries and rechargeable batteries are special waste and must be disposed of in accordance with national regulations and not with the normal household waste.
